Summary
Adam is depressed.
Lonely, but terrified to make a connection, knowing that person will eventually die and leave him alone.
It starts out normally enough, basic anonymous hookups throughout Europe.
But slowly, his desire to die wins over. He doesn't want to be immortal.
He tries more and more extreme measures in order to test his resilience to see if he can finally end it.
(I know the first chapter is in past tense, I wrote it before I came up with the rest of this lore.)
