   Summary

   Teddy throws his arms around Renfield. He is warm and emotional and human, despite not being human at all. Renfield, on the other hand, is cold and becoming colder. He is losing the ability to think like a person rather than a predator. He understands that someday he will be a husk. Dracula had called him a husk before, and that wasn’t true. But he will be. One day, he’ll be an empty monster.

   The problem with being monsters in love is that, at the end of the day, it might be the monster that wins out.
