There was a travelling zoo stopping by Gotham. Whose idea was it? Honestly, Jason didn’t know. With all the rogues in Gotham, something was bound to go wrong, but it still stopped by.
Jason had looked into it for two reasons.
From the Red Hoods' view, to see if there was anything that could cause major damage to Gotham if a rogue got out. And as a boyfriend, seeing if it would be worth visiting.
In the end, Jason decided he was going to go see it in person and bring his boyfriend for a date, and hope that no rogues got out because if the lions got out, it could cause a bit of chaos for the vigilantes.
But he hoped everything would be calm.
Ha! Hope and calm in the same sentence in Gotham? Unheard of.
But Jason watched as Percy got on his jacket before following Jason out the door, down to Jason’s motorcycle.
They climbed on and were off to the zoo, letting the air whip around them.
They got there soon enough, and both Jason and Percy climbed off and went inside to buy two tickets.
They walked through the zoo, Percy smiling when he saw the horses, then the smile dropped into something closer to trying so hard not to laugh.
Jason had a feeling it had to do with the fact that Percy could talk to horses.
But when they reached the penguins, Percy’s face softened, and he muttered to Jason, “They’re cute!”
Jason huffed a laugh, looping his arm around Percy's waist as the man watched the penguins with a smile.
Gods did Jason love his boyfriend.
