Work Text:

Ex's mindspace was, quite frankly, an absolute mess, in Jeff's opinion. Half of their brain was dark with his influence, glowing green and red vein-like patterns all around, and the other half was white-ish pink, with edges of purple and sage green. That side was clearly the half that cared for Xisuma and the Hermits. Jeff's glowing eyes landed on Evil X's conciousness once again, and yep, they were still tied to the floor with the slimy, neon green vines. Jeff smiled with a menacing glint in his eyes as Ex's concience continued to struggle, trapped in their own mind.

"I'm in control now." Jeff yanked Ex's head up by the horns of their helmet, making them grunt in pain. "And I'm going to murder those little hermits that you care so much about with your own two hands. Such evil." He chuckled and released Ex before walking forwards and finally, finally, taking full control.

It wasn't surprising to see everything with a red tint, considering Evil X wore red head to toe, including a tinted visor. It clashed horribly with Jeff's pale green neon eyes though, so after sitting up as Evil X, he turned the visor colour off and got on his feet, a bit unsteady due to the fact that Evil Xisuma's physical body was quite a bit taller than Jeff's. But after a few moments, Jeff cleared his throat, ready to threaten and murder the hermits while Evil X watched.

Only to turn around and find practically all of the Hermits staring at him. Visor off, green glowing eyes on full display-

It was clear he was not Ex. The hermits drew their weapons barely a moment later, and Xisuma (the real one) stepped forwards, eyes locked onto Jeff's.

"Hello." The Hermitcraft Admin said. "Kindly remove yourself from my brother's body, and I'll consider letting you off easy." Jeff froze, netherite sword to his throat. This was all going wrong.

"Foolish mortal!" Jeff hissed, grabbing at the sword with a gloved hand and shoving it away. Xisuma almost took a step back from the force of the push, but his lilac eyes narrowed on the villain. "Kill me, and you'll kill your dear brother! You cannot stop me!"

Xisuma looked over at his hermits before smiling suddenly. "I wasn't thinking of killing you. Death would be a mercy compared to what we have prepared for you." The admin stalked closer, and Jeff began stepping back, getting cornered. "Because, let's face it- you deserve to burn in hell for what you put Ex through."

One of the admin's hands closed around his throat. "And I'll make sure that you learned your lesson by the end of this."

Jeff regreted everything right now.
