Kidd was walking through the park with Amaya and Connor. It has been 2 years since he switched over to their school. He was already 7 now. He was glad that he for once could be in one place for a longer period of time. All though the people were weird. On the other hand, he went to a kindergarten with an alligator that was in a war with a janitor and had a fight with them. So he didn’t have much to say in that matter. “Greg, come on." Amaya called to him. It was still weird to be called Greg instead of Kidd. But whatever, he still enjoyed spending time with his friends. "Coming, slow down a bit. You two are going way too fast.” Amaya giggled while Connor just shrugged and grabbed his wrist. Effectively pulling him to something the 2 wanted to show him. There were 3 bracelets. “We found them at the pawn shop.” Connor exclaimed excitedly. Kidd was a bit sceptical though, the bracelets looked weird. Really weird, underground lab weird. It looked like they were made in the labs he found underneath the schools.
“Did they say anything about them?” He decided to ask, just to be safe. “Only that they found them at an old abandoned school a year ago. Seemed deserted, run down. Probably an explosion that got it abandoned.” Kidd sucked in a breath. “Where exactly did they find the abandoned building?” Amaya and Connor look at him with confused faces. He gets it, it was weird that he was asking after it, but it looked too much like that place. “It was somewhere south, I think in xxx.” Kidd sucks in a breath, that was his school, on Wednesday. Oh dear, oh dear, oh fuck. Just breathe Kidd, it's not that big of a deal. You can get over this. It is just some bracelets made at your old school that used to experiment on kids. No problem. Except it was a problem, a big problem. You know what, let's just ignore that for a second. Kidd takes a deep breath, and answers. “Okay, maybe I will check it out.” He won’t, he never would. He means that he would never go and visit that place again. Why would he, he was there when the place exploded. “Yeah, me and Amaya were going to check it out next weekend, want to come?” Well now he couldn’t say no right. “Well how are you going to get there?” “Oh, my mom is going to bring us.” Oh damn, now he could really not say no. “Okay, let's go then.”
