AITAH for playing a prank on my friend?
I (13M) live with four other teenagers: S (16F), R (15F), B (15M), and C (17M). C and I are in an ongoing prank war, and I set up a water balloon filled with motor oil around the corner of a hallway where I thought he was going to walk and waited for him to come down the hall so I could launch it at him. I was lying in wait when I heard C from behind me ask, “why are we hiding?”. I turned around in horror to see C hiding with me! Confused, I asked who was walking down the hall if C was right there. Before I could stop it, S had turned the corner and triggered the trap! The balloon hit her square in the face and she was not happy. She yelled at me, calling me a “clorbag barblernelk”, and gave me the cold shoulder for the rest of the day until I finally apologized. I’m pretty sure I’m in the wrong and still feel bad about the prank hitting her but I wanted to come on here and ask your opinions. So, AITAH?
Edit #1: No, the motor oil wouldn’t have harmed C or S. C is a robot and S has alien skin.
Edit #2: Pretend you didn’t see edit one, you’re not supposed to know that much info about us this is supposed to be anonymous…
Edit #3: Yes, C would have thought the prank was hilarious and just continued the prank war. And I didn’t apologize right after S was accidentally hit because I didn’t know what to say, I made a lame joke that didn’t hit at all instead and awkwardly left.
Edit #4: Don’t worry about who’s supervising us, that wasn’t part of the story, guys
