Summary
Kaveh’s doing an admirable job, Alhaitham thinks. Flitting around the room, pretending to toast one too many times while also getting closer to their target, who looks keenly interested in him and makes Alhaitham want to rip his eyeballs out.
So Kaveh’s doing his job a little too well, because Alhaitham sure as hell isn’t concentrating on his job. He’s forgotten what he’s supposed to be doing. Something about stealing a highly valuable gem? Heavily guarded?
Fuck if he knows, because the only thing he can focus is on Kaveh flitting around the room in a pretty red dress. It matches his eyes, was the first thing he’d thought when Kaveh showed up. And then, quickly followed by: I want to fuck him while he’s wearing it, and he’d shaken his head so violently Kaveh actually asked him if he was feeling sick.
