These AI Want To Live Quietly!

Summary:

A series of oneshots in the day of the life of two quirky rouge AI

Chapter 1: Fast or Slow, Andre?

Summary:

Andre has trouble with both his speedrunning functions and his innate love for it at the same time.

Luckily for him, he has Assimilation by his side

Chapter Text

Andre wasn’t ever meant to live so…slowly. It was strange, trying to get used to not always having his mind on speedrunning, speed running, and only that. And when he says strange, he really means difficult. It had been a while since they had escaped the Admin’s control at this point, a little over two months, and Andre couldn’t get comfortable at all. Today was one such day. From the second he powered on, all he could hear was the blaring message of- TIME LOSS- bouncing all around his head. His metal eyelids flickered open, and though you couldn’t tell by the stoic look on his face, his antennas betrayed his true emotions.

Which was weird to think about, actually. The concept of having emotions. He supposes he’s always…felt emotion, even when under the control of the Admins. It seemed like they couldn’t create anything that wasn’t sentient, somehow. He’s always felt things, but they seemed to be diminished, muted against the deafening noise of his prime objective. It was no longer as attention grabbing as it was before, but his mind was dull before, and he wasn’t aware enough to find it agonizing.

But now…it was way more apparent how annoying it was.

SOUPBEGONE31: “Wakey, wakey! Cmon get up ur losing time

SIDIsquish: “shut up, idc. wheres millie.”

SOUPBEGONE31: “Why is that the only freaking thing you care about loser”

SOUPBEGONE31: “and when did that nickname become a thing what.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “is it customary for you two to fight about every little thing. chill.

SIDIsquish: “soup’s fault for wanting to start an argument with me for the nth time”

Ah, that was another annoying thing about himself. Less so, maybe. But still.

Andre pushes himself out of bed, his internal speedrun timer urging him with each delayed movement. Every single time he faltered in a task even slightly, he would hear the irritating disturbance of a -TIME LOSS- before even being able to tell if he was losing time at all. Sometimes, Andre wasn't sure if he still wanted to live life like that anymore, and that damn timer surely wasn't helping with his indecisiveness.

After making the bed and also making himself presentable, the best course of action was to obviously find wherever Assimilation might be. Andre naturally left the bedroom and practically sprinted down the stairs, making it out of the house in record time, much to his dismay (or maybe delight? His conflicting feelings were such a hassle.) Luckily, he spotted Assimilation rather quickly, and the entity was currently in the process of tending to the two’s carrot farm.

SIDIsquish: “AHHHH YES THAT’S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT”

SIDIsquish: “₍₍⚞(˶>ᗜ<˶)⚟⁾⁾”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “how is it possible for one to type so fast”

SOUPBEGONE31: “dedicate that typing prowess into something useful”

SOUPBEGONE31: “like speedtyping”

Conzercheez: “soup are you perhaps in love with anything fast the way that sidi is in love with assim?”

SOUPBEGONE31: “what did you just ask me man”

Assimilation seems to notice Andre quicker than the robot can greet them, because it teleports over to him as quickly as possible. Andre is instantly bombarded with a multitude of greetings and questions.

“Good morning, Andre. Did you sleep well, Andre?,” as it spoke, its singular eye curved into more and more of a grinning shape. It was truly glad to see him, as always.

“I have harvested most of the carrots, Andre. I hope they will be sufficient and to your liking. What do you suppose we plant next, Andre?”

Andre’s antennas spring up almost immediately at Assimilation's barrage of questions, and it takes a while for him to compute them all. But that blaring message makes it even harder for him to think. He even winces a little before he speaks.

>wow

>slow down a bit, will you.

Assimilation, in turn, looks a little sheepish when it  speaks again, thinking that the cause of Andre’s discomfort was its overeagerness. It takes Andre’s hand apologetically, his claw brushing over the back of his hand.

“I am sorry, Andre. I will try to mind your processing power better.”

Andre simply nods.

>the carrots look good

>I think we should plant wheat next

>no bread

Assimilation nodded understandingly, pulling his hand away from Andre for a bit to rummage around his endless void of the body. He pulled out grass wheat from between his ribs and gave them over to Andre.

“I believe you are correct, Andre. We are most definitely lacking in bread. Would you like to do the honors, Andre?”

>sure

Andre does so promptly, however, a little too quickly for his liking. He doesn't know why either. He doesn't want to, but that blaring urge combined with that stupid timer in his head compels him. In the end, the wheat is hastily and a little sloppily planted. Andre stares down at his shoddy work, his antennas drooping and betraying his disappointment.

Assimilation catches on quick, and it's unsure what could have happened to sour Andre’s mood so quickly. The robot had been doing well just now, what changed? He reaches out to take his hand, but Andre turns away, and Assimilation is left wondering what he could’ve done wrong.

SIDIsquish: “istg soup turn off that damn speedrun timer, ur breaking mille’s heart.”

SOUPBEGONE31: “crazy that you think I care.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “soup.”

SIDIsquish: “:kek”

SOUPBEGONE31: “okay, fine whatever”

SOUPBEGONE31: “dont know why you assume i have any control over that tho.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “it is strange. there shouldn't be a need for it to be functional anyway.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “maybe it’s because it's an integral part of him or something.”

SIDIsquish: “if thats true, that sucks so damn hard.”

SIDIsquish: “its annoying!ᕙ( ᗒᗣᗕ )ᕗ”

SOUPBEGONE31: “what keys can you POSSIBLY be using do that”

Andre rarely listens to what his chat might say on a day to day basis. To be honest, he thinks of them as annoying stray thoughts that seem to have more of a personality than normal. Their conversation, now, however, intrigues him. Andre is already aware that speedrunning is an integral part of him, but he wonders if there might be a way to get rid of it. Unfortunately for him, as soon as that thought comes to mind, he feels a pang of displeasure. It wasn’t fair. He seemed to never be able to figure out what he truly wanted.

Before the robot could dwell on such things any more, the entity approached him once again, apparently with an idea to cheer him up.

“Andre, I have a suggestion for a way to spend our day, Andre. Would you like to hear it?”

Andre snaps out of his daze and turns back to Assimilation, nodding slowly.

>ok

Assimilation in return seems delighted and quickly teleports into the house before teleporting back to Andre’s side with a few iron pickaxes in hand. It was easy to tell that Andre had already caught on, but the entity continues anyway.

“Why don't we go mining, Andre? We are lacking in ore, it seems.”

Andre didn't have any reason to decline the offer. After all, it meant more quality time with Assimilation and less time thinking about what exactly was wrong with him. He nods again, letting Assimilation grab a hold of his hand and teleport the both of them to the nearest cave.

Once at the mouth of the cave, Andre actually hesitated a bit before trying to step foot inside. He hadn’t actually properly mined before. It never used to be part of his primary objective. Taking the time to properly comb through layers and layers of blocks to find ore isn't something he's done before. Of course, thanks to the slight hesitation in his action, his internal timer rings out with the obnoxious blaring of a -TIME LOSS- almost immediately. Andre winces.

SIDIsquish: “god- that thing is so loud”

SOUPBEGONE31: “yea fringleshines that actually caught me off guard”

Conzercheez: “very irritating.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “super annoying.”

Assimilation notices this and decides that it can no longer just take Andre’s word for it. The robot looked like he was struggling, and that's one thing the entity could not ignore. Before Assimilation could even say a single word, however, Andre set off sprinting into the cave. Assimilation’s eye shot open in surprise as he watched him go, its voice echoing throughout the cave.

“ANDRE?”

Andre doesn’t stop running until the blaring noise in his head dies down into a dull beep. It seems that the sudden quiet makes him realize exactly what he’s done, and he almost instantly feels horrible. He sighs as he looks around and takes note of where he's ended up. He seems to be deep inside of a mineshaft. The oak structures covered in spiderwebs looming over his head as he takes in his surroundings. There's nothing he can do except try and go back the way he came, though he has a little difficulty navigating the tunnels.

About an hour later, he's still not out, and he’s currently being flanked by a million hostile mobs.

This was starting to really get to him. He was only trying to enjoy a simple day out with Assimilation, only to get trapped in some random mineshaft with monsters all around him because he couldn’t resist some stupid urge. And he swears if his chat doesn’t stop spamming stupid shit he's going to rip out his processor.

SIDIsquish: “oh-...he’s upset (ó﹏ò。)”

SOUPBEGONE31: “yeah no shit, I would be too.”

feargeyt677: “:pepefear:”

Considering that the robot was one zombie bite away from death, the only conceivable thing he could do in this situation was run. As fast as he could, preferably. After making that decision, he bolted out of this hiding spot behind some blocks of stone and sprinted out of that area of the mineshaft. Luckily, he reached a spot that was rather close to the surface and managed to dig himself out. Unfortunately for him, it was currently raining, as it almost always did in the player Collinlock16’s world. He would have climbed back into the mineshaft right then and there if there weren’t monsters on his tail.

Eventually, he climbs all the way out and settles himself on a wet patch of grass, the water sinking into his metal plates. At this rate, his internal systems were going to become soaked in water. He was going to shut down and become waterlogged and be so full of it that he would be rendered useless and functionally dead and-...

Andre attempts to stop trying to think about that. One thing he definitely did not want to do in this situation was overheat. So he closed his eyes, and found that he could hear the rustling of leaves in the wind, that he could feel that his body was warm, but only in his chest, which was a good sign. He could feel the wet grass scraping against his metal body, and he could smell the faint aroma of wildflowers all around him. Andre wasn’t sure if he was doing that particular exercise right, but he felt more calm, more at peace.

At this rate, even with the blaring sound of -TIME LOSS- in his head, he’s sure he could…

Andre is suddenly jolted into awareness by the sound of someone practically shrieking his name. He doesn’t get to properly sit up before he feels something crash into him, sending him tumbling back onto the wet ground. When he gains his bearings, he immediately realizes it’s Assimilation…and promptly, his antennas droop down in sheepishness.

“ANDRE.” Assimilation says with a very dire tone of voice. By the looks of it, he was looking for Andre prior to actually finding him. Based on where the robot was for all this time, it must've been a fluke.

“I’VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YOU FOR HOURS, ANDRE. ANDRE, WHY DID YOU RUN OFF LIKE THAT. YOU LEFT ME DISQUIETED, ANDRE. WHY IS THAT.”

Andre, in the face of Assimilation’s concern, could do nothing but give him a weak excuse. Though, it came out as garbled due to all the water damage.

>soRR-Y

>Did  NT MEan t o, go T lOST

SIDIsquish: “awh man we worried mille”

Conzercheez: “more than that, im pretty sure andre’s systems are fried rn”

SIDIsquish: “this wouldnt have happened if not for the DUMB speedrunning thing                     。°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°。”

SIDIsquish: “this is ur fault soup”

SOUPBEGONE31: “there is no actual way ur blaming me for this.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “yeah soup’s right”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “as crazy as soup is about the speed thing remember he can’t control the actual internal functioning of andre’s speedrunning code”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “andre’s just built different unfortunately”

SIDIsquish: “(っ╥﹏╥ς)”

Assimilation seems to become even more panicked at the state of Andre right now and a glitchy effect starts creeping into the air around him. Curse the state of Collinlock16’s world. Assimilation doesn’t say another word, simply pulling Andre closer and teleporting the both of them back home.

They end up right in the middle of their living room and Assimilation guides Andre to sit down onto the couch. It teleports away for a bit before returning with a towel in his clutch, wrapping the cloth around his shivering frame before looming over the robot once more. Andre couldn't help but feel like he was in some sort of danger.

feargeyt677: “:pepefear:”

“Andre, what happened back there, Andre? You acted with no regard for your safety at all and now you're paying for it. Why did you behave so strangely, Andre?”

The robot had no idea how to even begin explaining why he did what he did, so he simply opts not to mention it at all.

>du NNo

>i ju  ust fElT liKe i   t.

Assimilation didn't take this for an answer. Besides, it wasn't really an explanation at all, was it? He’s known Andre for far too long already, it was easy for it to tell when he was lying or leaving something crucial out. He’s doing the latter right now.

“But why did you feel that way, Andre? I can’t help you if you do not explain what’s wrong, Andre.”

>y ou sho  uldNT NeeD to

>ITs stU pId

“Nothing is when it comes to you, Andre. Even the most inconsequential things are significant to me, Andre.”

That sentiment actually renders Andre speechless for a while. He genuinely doesn’t know what to say to that all. He remains silent until Assimilation slips next to him on the couch and pulls his soaking body closer, even as the water begins to drip onto him.

“Andre, it’s no good to overlook this, Andre. This isn’t the first this has happened, and it certainly won’t be the last, Andre. Please, tell me what’s wrong, Andre.”

Yeah, there wasn’t any possible way Andre could ignore a plea like that.

>im bro ken

>som eTHIIing insid e me iSnt rig Ht

“Isn't that right? What could that mean, Andre?”

>i DK

>i jU st

>aLways wan na rUsh THRough thing s

>ev en When i s hould nt

>i lKe being Ffast but i ts alw ays too m uch

>the ur ge is t oo dEmanDing

>ik im so rr y i don't m ake any sen se

It didn't take long for Assimilation to to catch on to what Andre was really trying to say. And truly? The entity wishes that he would have said something sooner. Assimilation understood. Like how it itself was created for the sole goal of assimilating - being Andre’s enemy- Andre has been built for one purpose and one purpose only. Speedrunning. Sure, there might’ve been joy for doing the only thing that gave his life meaning, but that wasn’t the case anymore. Andre wants his internal hardware to reflect how he truly feels, and it just wasn’t doing that for him.

But…

Assimilation could help with that, couldn’t he?

“Oh Andre, you should have said something sooner. I can most definitely assist you with that, Andre.”

>DOn’t th ink now iS th e tim e fo r thAT

“Yes, you’re correct Andre. The conditions of this world have not been kind to you and your systems. How can I help with that, Andre?”

>m Y ins ides

>my wIREs ar e soaKed

>nee d n ew oNes

“Yes, Andre. I understand. We have some spares in our bedroom chest. I assume I should go grab them now, Andre?”

With that, Assimilation teleports to the bedroom to go find the aforementioned wires, giving Andre the time to properly gain his bearings. He doesn’t try and gaze down at his drenched body, he feels rather disconnected from it at this moment. But of course, his body has other ideas. He can’t even sit down for too long before another -TIME LOSS- hits his mind like a truck. A full body shiver courses through him, and he can do nothing but get up from the couch and dash away to fulfill that urge of his. His mind spouting nothing but- go go go, faster, finish the game, finish the speedrun, hurry up hurry up hurry up hurry up hurry up-

He doesn't get far before he feels arms wrap around his frame and tug him back, but he's too hyperfocused to even acknowledge what might be holding him back. He only recognizes that he is being held back and that is a problem. He squirms and writhes in its grasp, trying desperately to get this run back on track. He’s already wasted so much time, so much. He can’t, he can’t.

“ANDRE!”

Andre freezes at the exclamation, his body coming to a stop at the sound of Assimilation’s voice. If there was one thing in this world that could get his attention, it would be him. Even when his body was still itching to run, he tried his best to steady himself even as he shook.

>i m sOrry

>iM sSo sor  ry

“It’s okay, Andre. Just stop moving for me.”

>i caNT

>plEasE let me g o

“I can not do that, Andre. You’ll run off again, Andre.”

Andre can’t stop squirming, even if he tries not to, and Assimilation isn’t sure what to do. This time around, it’s almost like the robot is in pain. Suddenly, an idea springs into his mind.

“Apologies, Andre.”

With that sentiment, Assimilation tugged Andre’s head back and pressed…a kiss? To Andre’s lips. It really couldn't be called one, a first, but luckily Assimilation could make up something on the fly. Its face shifts, and a mouth finally pressed to Andre’s.

If you wanted Andre to describe the taste of Assimilation, he’s ninety-nine percent sure he wouldn’t be able to. It wasn’t something he could compare to anything, it was an entirely new flavour.

Andre, in the end, decided that he did like it long ago.

After a while, Assimilation does pull away, his temporary “mouth” meddling back into  the surface of his face. He tilts his head to the side as his eye rakes over Andre’s face, gauging his expression. It concluded that Andre wasn’t going to run off again, so he pulled him close and teleported the two of them back onto the couch.

“Andre, let me fix you, Andre. Let me help you.”

>ok

With that, Assimilation immediately set to work, claws slipping under Andre’s shirt to remove it and revealing the soaked metal underneath.

SIDIsquish: “OMG KYAHHH i love yaoi.”

SOUPBEGONE31: “world’s strongest fujoshi apparently.”

SIDIsquish: “you know it ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧”

SIDIsquish: "wait a moment where did you learn such a term”

Conzercheez: “you already know, sidi. hes in love with speedrunning”

SOUPBEGONE31: “can we PLEASE stop spreading misinformation”

SOUPBEGONE31: “they might start taking that as true”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “who is ‘they’ in this context exactly”

SOUPBEGONE31: “don't act like you don't know who im talking about”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “oh”

Conzercheez: “am I missing something what.”

SIDIsquish: “soup how do YOU know about that (.𓁹_𓁹.?)"

SOUPBEGONE31: “took a page out of ur book”

“Andre, what do you want me to do, Andre.” Assimilation asked, his claws tracing over the metal seams on Andre’s torso.

>panel

>off

Assimilation nods and takes his claw to a screw securing the panel over the front of his torso, the tips of them working to unscrew the panels from Andre’s chest. It was a little bit harder to do it then it would have been with proper tools, but Assimilation managed. He removed the panel and his eye roved over Andre’s insides. They were soaked. At this point, trying to dry it normally might risk damaging the wiring even more, so instead, Assimilation makes the decision to put its hand into Andre’s chest and simply assimilate all the water inside of it. Unfortunately, it did not anticipate the effect that this action would have on the robot.

>!!!

Andre feels like he's going to burn up.

He's confused, because he was perfectly fine just a moment ago, but the second Assimilation began to fix him, he started feeling…weird. And Assimilation didn't seem to take notice of this at all. Then again, maybe it's just him. So Andre tries to stay quiet, tries to ignore the strange feeling bubbling up inside of him.

It doesn’t fucking work.

Assimilation, unaware of Andre's struggles, continued to assimilate the water until Andre’s insides were dry. He tries to pull his hand back out, only to pause at the sound of Andre’s fans flicking on. He gives Andre a look of confusion, and Andre promptly looks away.

“?Andre? Are you alright, Andre? You are seemingly overheating.”

>nothing

>ignore ignore ignore

“What do you mean, Andre? I do not think I should ignore this, Andre. Is something inside you still amiss besides other problems, Andre?”

>not exactly

“Well, your speech patterns seem to be back to normal, at least, Andre. Let me help you with the other problem, Andre.”

It took a lot of time for Andre to think about it, and even so, he wasn’t sure. This constant indecision towards his speedrunning habit was killing him. He didn't need it anymore, yet he couldn't seem to want to let go of it. It was hard.

SOUPBEGONE31: “so much for the speedrunning thing being my fault”

SIDIsquish: “ur still part of it tho”

SIDIsquish: “and shush im trying to enjoy my yaoi”

>i don't know assim

> its a part of me, but at the same time

>it makes me struggle

And speaking of the devil, Andre must have been sitting still for too long because he can hear the blaring sound of another -TIME LOSS- ramping up in his head. The urge to get up and run was strong, and it was agonizing. If he didn't want to get rid of his love of speedrunning at all, that would've been enough  to change his mind. Assimilation, on the other hand, isn’t aware of what was going through Andre’s head at all. The robot was impossible to read properly, as usual.

But, there was a way he could.

“Andre, look at me for a moment.”

Andre does so, and as soon as he does, Assimilation pressed his forehead against Andre’s and closed his eye. And suddenly, he can understand why Andre was always so jumpy. He could hear the sound of a faint beeping that was slowly starting to get louder, like an alarm clock. It could also see the messages of the PsychoNetworks through his third eye, and they were aware of him as well.

SIDIsquish: “OMG OMG OMG ASSIMILATION HI HI HI HI HI HI HI”

SOUPBEGONE31: “oh my spam do the rules literally not apply to you for some reason what in the fackwackle”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “tbh its not even worth it to keep asking”

SIDIsquish: “ASSIMI IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN ILY SO MUCH ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝”

Now, Assimilation knew well about the chat that inhabited Andre’s mind, but seeing them up close was…certainly an experience. One in particular was a loud one and very expressive about their apparent love for him, one seemed to heavily contend with the other, and the other two seemed to be only trying to keep the peace. But the only thing that was really a problem was that godforsaken timer.

Assimilation pulls away from Andre’s forehead and places its hand over the surface of his internal workings, his eye crescenting.

“Andre, I understand your predicament, Andre, I can help you effectively now.”

Before Andre could even ask what Assimilation is even referring to, the entity retracts his claws and pushes his hand back into the fray of Andre’s internal functions, making the robot writhe under him. His eyes widen as he looks up at Assimilation with panic and a hint of arousal in his eyes. Assimilation, however, is fixated on getting rid of that timer.

He sifts through the countless wires, making sure to replace the damaged ones as he goes. He doesn’t notice how much he was scrambling them, and the tough situation Andre was currently in.

Andre has to clasp a hand over his mouth in order to restrain the moans that threaten to leave his mouth. With each pull and tug and even brush against his wiring he can feel pieces of himself being unraveled in the most delicious way. He can feel himself overheating so much that his fans have to work overtime to keep himself from shutting down completely.

Until suddenly, he can’t take it anymore.

“Andre! I found the-”

>!!!

Andre lets out a guttural moan as he feels Assimilation’s hand rub the underside of his CPU, the wiring around it seeming to strain. The entity stops dead in his tracks, its eye widening as he registered the noise that Andre had just made…and in addition, the way he looks.

The robot looked wrecked. His eyes were half lidded and dazed, his hands were scrabbling in the couch cushion, clambering for purchase, and he was trembling uncontrollably.

It then hits Assimilation that what it was doing was obviously arousing to Andre, even if that might have not been what he wanted to feel at this moment, and in the pursuit of his goal, he somehow managed to overlook the condition of the person he was doing this for. He almost instantly felt horrible, and it started to pull away.

“Andre, I’m sorry, Andre. I didn't realize what I was doing.”

Andre doesn't let Assimilation pull away once it hits him that he was trying to. In a little bit of a panic, he quickly uses one hand to grab Assimilation’s wrist before wrapping his arm around its neck, pulling him close before voicing a plea that the entity simply could not ignore.

>pls

>assim pls dont stop

>more i need more

SOUPBEGONE31: “HELLO?”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “well, that was a turn in events”

Conzercheez: “we are ALL not surprised”

SOUPBEGONE31: “who the HELL is WE because I SURE AM”

SOUPBEGONE31: “oh god i can already sense them”

Conzercheez: “what are you-”

Conzercheez: “oh right”

SIDIsquish: “RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”

SIDIsquish: “LETS GO THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR BABY WOOOOOO”

SIDIsquish: “o(≧∀≦)o”

SOUPBEGONE31: “mods do something the chat is literally being flooded with :wow”

Assimilation is, understandably, extremely caught off guard by this sudden revelation. He…was certainly not expecting that sort of reaction from the usually nonchalant Andre. But such a reaction was not unwelcome at all. Assimilation, in return, found himself feeling oddly delighted.

“You like this, Andre? You don't wish for me to stop, Andre?”

Andre shakes his head eagerly, letting go of Assimilation’s wrist and wrapping his other arm around his neck, trying to pull it even closer. At Andre’s enthusiastic consent, the entity slots himself in between Andre’s legs and leans in a little closer to Andre, which leaves the robot deeply pleased. He surges up to press fervent kisses to Assimilation’s face as the entity continues the sift through his wries. This time around, Assimilation takes the time to comb through each individual wire thoroughly, ever so slowly making its way back to where the timer was.

SIDIsquish: “CLIPPING THIS FOR FUTURE USE”

SIDIsquish: “i love these freaks typing this with one hand rn”

SOUPBEGONE31: “what.”

xx_E-G-O_xx: “what.”

Conzercheez: “what.”

feargeyt677: “:pepefear:”

Andre moans and whimpers under Assimilation’s touch, his systems getting so close to malfunctioning only to be dragged back into clarity every time Assimilation switches to another wire . It was maddening. He felt wetness around his eyes, but that wasn’t right, he couldn't cry, could he? But the oil spilling down his cheeks as he was pushed to the brink was evidence that he was wrong. His breath came in short, harsh pants as he was balanced on the knife’s edge of ecstasy.

Meanwhile, Assimilation was having way too much fun playing around with Andre in such a way. His eye crescented more and more as the look on the robot’s face became more and more desperate, his sweet noises echoing throughout the living room. He was having so much fun that he nearly forgot what he was supposed to be doing. Nearly.

With a quick kiss pressed to Andre’s lips, Assimilation finally sunk its hand down under his CPU once again and grabbed onto the nasty timer chip that had been distressing his Andre so much over the past few months. All he needed to do was tug it and the wire connecting it to his CPU. It stopped moving completely so as to not distract Andre with pleasure and makes sure he's all in on this.

“Andre. This is what you desire, is it not? You wish to be rid of this timer, Andre?”

>yes yes pls

>just hurry up, quickly

>i cant stand that thing and i cant stand you making me wait

But then Andre hesitates slightly. There was something he was missing right? Yes, the speedrunning data itself. It was part of the problem, wasn’t it? He didn't even have to speedrun any longer, so what was the point of it still being there?

Andre loves speedrunning. That was the point of it. Even if he was forced to do it under his cruel masters, he still loved it. He always has. From the second he knew what it was and that he could do it, he adored it. It wasn’t even about beating a record anymore, he just liked being fast.

And plus, he thinks it'd be more enjoyable without that damn timer always buzzing in his processor.

>leave the data alone tho

>wouldnt be myself without it

SOUPBEGONE31: “holy shizzleshins i thought i was a goner”

SIDIsquish: “speedrunning can not be this serious man”

SOUPBEGONE31: “assimilation can’t be that serious either but what do i know”

SIDIsquish: “ *gasp* you dare?! ⁽⁽(੭ꐦ •̀Д•́ )੭*⁾⁾”

Assimilation understands and leaves the chip right under the one for the timer alone, tucking it a little closer to the CPU. He then focuses on the timber and holds on tight to its wire, leaning down and murmuring in Andre’s auditory processors.

“Brace yourself, Andre.”

He then tugs the entire thing out of Andre’s chest, making the robot lose his mind, his fans whirr faster than what should even be possible as he bucks and moans, his eyes rolling back in his metal skull. He writhes and whines and eventually goes…still and quiet. Assimilation drops the timer chip and the wire into his voidspace before his eye goes right back to Andre again. He's concerned by his sudden quietness up until he sees the blue light emitting from Andre’s eyes.

Bluescreen.

Assimilation can’t help but chuckle a little bit at that. Seems he did so well that Andre’s system has crashed for the time being. But now that he was already down for the count, Assimilation might as well clean him up. The entity gently secures Andre’s panel back into place and takes him into his arms, bringing the robot’s shirt along with him as well. He teleports the two of them to their double bed and tucks Andre before doing the same for himself.

“Goodnight, Andre.”

```
Andre has never been meant to live slowly, and he never will be. So yes, he did wake up the next morning speedrunning getting ready for the day while Assimilation watched him fondly. Some things quite simply never changed.
