   Summary

   The 501st is dispatched to recover data from Research Outpost RC-47, where a rogue specimen being studied, in secret, under Project Ashfall has escaped containment. The Jedi Council discovers that Anakin Skywalker has been infected with a symbiotic organism engineered to create supersoldiers. But, as the lone survivor, Anakin quickly discovers that his transformation comes at terrible, personal cost: a ravenous hunger for mitichlorians, found only in the blood of living beings. Struggling to suppress these new urges and cling to the Light, Obi-Wan stands by Anakin’s side, and they start to rebuild bridges previously burned.

   But, all is not as it seems, and their fragile connection will be challenged.
