y/n y/l/n wasn't a popular girl. she actually didn't have many friends and usually kept to herself. that is unless she was with her only group of friends, the losers club. sure, the name was unconventional and probably only enforced the stereotypes around that group, but they didn't care; because they had each other.
y/n grew up in derry. lived there her whole life, and honestly hated the town. she hates everything about it, besides her friends. especially stanley. stanley uris was her next door neighbor. he had also always lived there. their bedroom windows faced each other and both windows had widow seats. it felt meant to be.
the pair often sat in their window seats, with walkie talkies, spending their time talking about useless things. they didn't know a life without each other. but they liked it that way.
rumors had circulated around school that y/n and stanley were together, or that they had been doing adult activities with each other. this rumor was started by no other than, henry bowers. this rumor had little affect on their friendship. but unbeknownst to stanley, it has started to make y/n think of stanley in a different light. a better, even brighter light.
y/n was also very close with richie, but not like how she was with stan. the entire losers club were closely knit and never had big fights. they had sleepovers every weekend and went out together as often as they could.
y/n trusted this group with her entire heart. and so did her parents. they loved the losers and would often invite the boys over for dinner, sleepovers and family events that most family's wouldn't even think of inviting non-relatives. however, they treated them like family and it was comforting for a lot of the group to know they had a second family to go to when they needed it.
all the kids were bonded together through friendship and thousands of memories made from growing up together and experiencing the scary changes that growing up have entailed. all that any of them ever needed when something was wrong, was each other.
