Summary
Kitty Henderson dreams of a life far bigger than Hawkins, Indiana. Smart and sharp-tounged, she's built for arguments, not monster hunting. But when her mom's beloved cat goes missing the day after Halloween, she finds herself pulled into something far more dangerous than she thought possible for her sleepy little town.
Forced to reckon with the lies she's been fed, a danger that lives beneath her feet, and a boy she never meant to care about: Steve Harrington. What begins as suspicion and sharp words slowly morphs into something quieter and hard to ignore. Steve becomes a constant presence in her life as the Upside Down bleeds further into Hawkins and Kitty must decide whether her future lies in escape or staying as she learns what it means to grow up, to love, and to choose something even when it scarier than the dark.
