Summary
Nine months after the end of Mabel and Dipper's summer in Gravity Falls, Stan and Ford are returning to the Mystery Shack for another Summer of Grunkles. During their time at sea, the older Pines twins have discovered and documented the strange and unusual while recollecting their own pasts. With the aid of old photo albums and reels, Ford has helped Stan remember their shared childhood. The memories of his family members have given Stan the means of remembering the past, but the nearly 40 years between leaving Glass Shard Beach and welcoming Dipper and Mabel to Gravity Falls are a fog in Stan's mind. In his opinion, it's better that way. But there are some doors that refuse to stay closed; there is some pain that demands to be remembered.
