#PangkeyCW25 Day 2: Hot Chocolate/Candy Canes

Notes:

The original story for this prompt was actually very smutty, but then I was struck by inspiration at 2 in the morning and remembered a Skam Italia scene.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

They were settled under the white duvets of Lukey’s bed, foreheads touching and eyes closed, still under the spell of sleep. It was already late in the day, Pangi was sure of it, but everything felt too comfortable to bother getting up.

He could feel himself smiling as Lukey’s hand gently caressed his shoulder, before moving up to meet his own hand he’d crossed over his neck. The warmth barely covered his fist, but it was enough. He was here. Pangi stretched his arm across to meet Lukey’s shoulder, his fingers gently scratching against the man’s white shirt and drawing circles over them. His mind relaying that just beneath the fabric lay a vast array of barely present freckles that dotted the Brit’s shoulders.

Through slightly opened eyes, Pangi could barely make out the dimples that usually hid beneath the shadows of Lukey’s cheeks. He looked adorable with his hair sticking out in odd ends and that dopey looking smile in the mornings.

“Good morning,” he brought his head forward and nudged Lukey, who in turn nudged him back. “Morning.”

Pangi felt something hit his nose, then a breath next to his lips, and was met with a soft kiss. Their lips locking like magnets, before falling apart just as quickly. Despite his sleepy vision, he could tell that a rosy blush had invaded the other man’s cheeks.

“You talk a lot when you sleep...” Lukey’s voice, deeper than usual from sleep, attempted to recount snippets of what was assumed to be butchered Dutch. Pangi reached forward and cupped his jawline. He rubbed the stubbly skin with his thumb as Lukey spoke, admiring how someone could be so energetic in the morning.

“What..?” The Brit moved his face down, just enough to press a kiss onto Pangi’s palm, before looking back up. Through his eyelashes, Pangi could make out those worried eyes. Lukey moved his hand to cover the Dutchman’s wrist that still held his face and gently stroked up his arm. “Are you still sleepy?”

Pangi only smiled wider, eyes still slightly closed. “No, nothing… you looked cute was all.” He shrugged, as if it was a simple fact. Cause it was.

“Semmmm!” Lukey dragged out the consonant of his name in faux complaint, but there was a tenderness in his voice that Pangi couldn’t ever place.

He felt the duvet shuffle beneath him and Lukey’s limbs untangling from his. He groaned at the loss of closeness, before grunting wide awake as a weight settled just above his waist and he found his wrists being pinned above his head. The loss of the covers and Lukey made him shudder as the cold licked his bare chest and arms.

“Luuuucasssss…” Pangi grumbled before opening his eyes. Oh.

Right above him was Lukey, a mischievous grin plastered on his face and the necklace he’d given him hanging just above his lips like bait. Right on his neck, he could roughly make out faint splotches of discoloration of their activities the night before. He was too tired to fight back… and partially turned on at that situation.

He exaggerated a frown, as his eyes settled back to a lull. “It’s cold.”

As Lukey shifted on top of him, Pangi could feel the other man’s shirt slightly drag over his skin, sending sparks down to his spine at the touch. The grip on his wrists tightened and puffs of air graced his lips. Pangi didn’t even need to look up to know how close they were…

He moved his head up and snatched a kiss. “Hey!”

A light chuckle followed, before Lukey locked their lips together that deepened into a kiss. There was no passionate fervor, but it still contained the love and affection of one, both of them melting into the unspoken dance of silent pauses and noses nuzzling.

“Want some hot chocolate?” The question was barely audible against their lips, but Pangi affirmed, pecking his nose.

He felt Lukey leaning back, dragging his hands that had been pinned with him until they rested on his lap. The Brit raised his eyebrows suggestively. “Someone’s excited so early in the morning.”

Pangi groaned, but moved his hands up Lukey’s thighs, fingers dipping beneath the shirt’s hem that covered the waistband of those shorts he always liked to wear. His lips turning into a smile as he felt the warm skin underneath the pads of his fingers. He couldn’t exactly deny it could he? The evidence was practically pressed between them.

Of course, the advances were met with denial. Those sinful hands that were raking marks across his back the night before, were now pushing down his hands onto the mattress.

“Be patient, sir!” Lukey leaned in and they shared another breath before pulling away, fully getting off the bed and in turn, Pangi. He made sure to make a pointed gesture to Pangi’s waist before pulling the duvet back over Pangi’s chest. “Behave!”

And he left just like that.

Pangi begrudgingly sighed out loud.

By the time Lukey had come back into the room with the tray containing two mugs of hot cocoa, Pangi was sat up against the headboard. The duvet was in a small pile around his waist and being used a slight rest to hold up his phone. With the dim lighting of the room, he looked breathtaking… of course, he wouldn’t admit that.

“Hot cocoas here!” Lukey softly called out as he neared the bed, before pointing over to a section of the bed. Luckily, they understood each other so well, Pangi immediately moved the duvet aside—allowing Lukey to set down the tray.

“What’s with the… candy canes?” Pangi closed his phone, attention turning to the treats on the tray, and picked one up that was of myriad colors. Lukey only smiled at him as he settled himself onto the bed cross-legged.

“It’s a surprise! Don’t worry, you’re gonna love it.” He carefully offered Pangi a mug, one without whip cream. “It’s hot.”

He leaned back, satisfied, once he saw the Dutchman blow into the mug before taking a sip. He still winced. Idiot. “I told you it was hot.”

“That’s not- why is it bitter?!”

“Oh, I used a chocolate tablet. I tried to find the ones that one cafe we went to used, but I think they made everything in-house over there. It was the only one at the store.” Lukey picked up his own mug, blowing into it between words before taking a sip with a shrug. The whip cream had melted into a frothy layer above the actual drink, leaving a cool white mustache on his upper lip. He bit his tongue to not wince, otherwise Pangi would not let him go. The hot drink left a terribly sweet aftertaste. “Mine’s too sweet.”

Pangi snorted and covered his mouth by immediately taking another sip of his hot chocolate. To which, the dummy once again burned his tongue. “Fuck!”

“Dumbass!” Lukey giggled and unwrapped a candy cane, before offering it to the wounded. “You probably won’t taste anything, but it should at least… at least I think, help.”

He stuck the long end of the mini candy cane that Pangi had chosen earlier to his mouth. It quickly disappeared between his lips… most of it. He leaned back, careful not to disturb their drinks on the tray, as he admired Pangi once again. What did he do to deserve all this? Enough apparently. And he wasn’t gonna complain.

“Lucas, hold up, don’t move.” Pangi commanded, his voice suddenly stern, despite the candy cane in his mouth. Lukey stayed still, careful of moving too much, as he was requested not to do. He saw Pangi lean forward, carefully moving the tray with hot drink to the side, before crawling over to him and wiping a thumb over his upper lip. Pangi’s thumb settled on his bottom lip, slightly opening his mouth. “Wider.”

It was a soft command and Lukey subconsciously opened his mouth, letting the thick digit slide past his lips and onto his tongue. “Suck.”

His mouth closed around Pangi’s thumb, his cheeks lightly hollowing as their eyes met. Lukey lightly moved his tongue against the pad of digit, holding back a moan as Pangi slowly pushed it deeper. He saw the corners of Pangi’s mouth creasing into those familiar lines that were usually followed with mirth. The candy cane just short of falling out of his mouth.

The moment was then incredibly ruined by Pangi’s stupid ego. “Good boy.”

He bit down on his thumb.

“You’re an idiot. You deserve that.” Lukey lightly pushed the cursing Dutchy back, his eyes giving the man a quick once over before Pangi pulled the duvet over himself again like a damsel caught unawares.

“No! You can’t bite me and then look me down!”

Lukey shrugged and pulled the tray of hot cocoa between them again. He brought his mug to his lips, taking a careful sip before replying. “I just did. Whatcha gonna do about it Sem?”

“A lot.” He replied in a deep voice and made sure their eyes met as he pressed his thumb into his own mouth. Fuck. He was good.

“Crybaby.” Lukey huffed into his mug.

They both settled into quiet lull as they waited for the cups of hot cocoa to cool to a reasonable level. Lukey the whole time insistent that Pangi didn’t finish the candy cane in one go. Unfortunately, by the time the Brit noticed the state of the cane, it was already in a state of no coming back. It had been sucked into a very sharp point. Maybe Pangi did have talent in that area? Very quickly though, their phones became less interesting as the state of their drinks became exceedingly became lukewarm.

“Ya know… if we added a little of you. This cup of hot chocolate wouldn’t be so bad.” Pangi spoke as he lifted the cup to his mouth. He took a gulp before letting out a deep exhale, borderline whistling. “Wooh!”

Lukey found himself smiling and ignored the obvious dirty joke. “Told you that you would’ve liked it.”

He sipped his own cup, inwardly reacting to the sickeningly sweet taste. Definitely too much whip cream. “Maybe, if you would be so generous, I can have a salted hot chocolate instead of dying from cavities.”

There was a silent pause.

“Is that an invitation?” Pangi’s voice was anything but subtle. Lukey rolled his eyes from above the rim of the mug.

“Fun fact, Sem. They say dark chocolate is a sort of aphrodisiac.”

“Oh. Oh! So… you knew what you were doing?” Pangi set down his unfinished cup of hot chocolate back on the tray, before grabbing the mug Lukey was desperately trying to hold onto. Unfortunately, even his tried and true method of puppy eyes were not working. Although… it wasn’t really an issue.

He watched as Pangi set his mug down on the tray and moved it off the bed.

Lukey leaned back on his hands, watching, eyes tracking the muscles moving underneath that taut skin that he practically knew like the back of his hand. “You’re so gonna step over that later and make a mess on the carpet.”

Pangi turned back to him, an eyebrow raised. “Who said we’ll be getting out of bed later?” And lunged towards Lukey, who let out a very manly squeal.

He tasted like peppermint chocolate.

Notes:

Do we even know if Lukey likes candy canes? Or does he even have the means to make hot cocoa? I swear he has nothing in his house drink-wise except water and wine.
