“Nick?” Charlie yelled to his husband as he stood looking at the tree outside their front door.
“Yes Char?”
“Did you order a tree?”
“No?” Charlie heard his husband running to the front door to see what he was talking about, “Oh… fuck. It was supposed to be Lego! I ordered the cherry blossom lego set, not an actual cherry blossom tree.”
“I don’t understand how you ordered Lego and got a tree?”
“I ordered it off a dodgy looking website because it was cheaper than ordering it off the actual Lego website, but I swear it said Lego on the listing and all the pictures were Lego.” Nick explained, frowning at the tree in front of them.
“Let me see the listing?”
Nick grabbed his phone out of his pocket and found the listing showing it to Charlie. Charlie scanned through the listing pointing to a line in the fine print that just said;
This is not Lego.
Charlie kissed Nick on the head, it’s okay love, we’ll plant it and now we can have a nice tree.
