   Summary

   After Geonosis, Obi-Wan Kenobi begins to feel the quiet cost of a life built on restraint. The Force bond with Anakin Skywalker lingers when it should have faded, thinner now, distant, carefully shielded. Obi-Wan tells himself this is independence. Growth. But pride does not ache like this.

   Obi-Wan turns to the anonymity of pleasure houses, seeking relief without attachment. He remains impeccable thoughtout the day. When the night comes however, he carries the knowledge that restraint did not spare him from love, only from acting on it.
