Summary
“When I said “He was just my Tammy,” I meant that I was looking for answers in somebody else. But all this time, I had all the answers. Once I realized that, I felt so free, it's like a could fly."
Mike knows he’ll never fly. Not like Will. Because even when they’re both on the brink of death, when there’s literally no one around to judge him, when the whole world they’re in is about to blow up into oblivion, ending a years-long nightmare, ending them with it, he struggles to say it. He could never say it under normal circumstances. But he has so, so many regrets.
“I’m so sorry, Will. I know it wasn’t that serious to you. Just a crush. But still, it must’ve sucked. I’m sorry I didn’t realize sooner.
“Mike, I already said, I’ve forgiven you.”
"I'm sorry about one more thing. I’m sorry that it was never just a stupid crush for me.”
Or
