   A captain treats his brothers-in-arms as his own.
   A captain cares for his men to and through their death.
   A captain is not above tasks delegated to soldiers.
   A captain avenges dishonor against his friends.
   A captain values the lives of his regiment.
   A captain takes pride in victories big and small.

   He followed this creed religiously….except for one time.
