   Summary

Phillip Graves is not a lucky man. Between a short-fused, alcoholic father and a mother that couldn't stick around it's safe to say he didn't have a whole lot going for him from the start. And even less to keep him in a nowhere town in Texas. Sometimes, though, you've got to make the best of the cards you were dealt.

A collection of moments and a series of events better left forgotten throughout Graves' childhood, in the years leading up to and after founding Shadow Company. Borrowing prompts from Whumpuary 2026 and titles from various Zach Bryan songs.
