The ninja discover—by accident—that Sensei Wu broke one of his own rules.
It starts when Jay finds Wu sneaking tea after declaring “no snacks after sunset” the night before.
Jay gasps dramatically.
“Kai. He broke The Rule.”
Wu freezes mid-sip.
The ninja immediately call an emergency meeting.
Cole flips through an old rule scroll. “It clearly says no exceptions, Sensei.”
Wu clears his throat. “Rules are… flexible when you reach enlightenment.”
Lloyd squints. “That sounds like cheating.”
After a very serious vote (Jay votes twice), the ninja decide:
👉 Sensei Wu is grounded.
Punishments include:
No tea for 24 hours
No mysterious advice (“You must find the answer within yourselves”)
He has to sit through their training lecture
Wu is forced to sit on the training mat while Kai paces.
“Now, Sensei,” Kai says, “how do you feel about discipline?”
Wu sighs. “I trained you people.”
Jay grins. “Yeah, and look how that turned out.”
Zane sets a timer. “Grounding will conclude in eight hours and forty-two minutes.”
Wu tries to escape using wisdom riddles.
The ninja ignore him.
Eventually, Wu admits defeat and apologizes.
Lloyd nods solemnly. “Rules apply to everyone.”
Wu smiles proudly. “…You have learned well.”
Then immediately asks for tea.
They ground him again.
