He's A War Criminal!

Summary:

Somehow Hank is in charge of the Mutant Resources Department and he needs to go over with Charles and Erik why Erik isn't allowed to roam the hallways of the X-Mansion.

Notes:

This is a gift drabble as well as being inspired by the idea of an HR department for the X-Men in Everyone Wants Him (That Was My Crime) series.

This is a stand alone as well.

Work Text:

He’s a War Criminal!

Hank pinched the bridge of his nose as he closed his eyes. Counting to ten as he tried and failed to remind himself how he got roped into being the Mutant Relations of their new Mutant Department.

“Charles, for the last time.” Hank tried to say with patience as he opened his eyes, glaring across the room at Charles. Charles was busy making googly eyes at Erik. “You cannot have Erik roaming the hallways freely!” Hank snapped his teeth, growing more frustrated by the second. He slammed down the paperwork for Erik’s release onto the table in annoyance at how flippant Charles and Erik were being.

“Ooh, teacher is upset, Charles.” Erik said in a mocking tone as he flicked his eyes from Charles to Hank then back to Charles. Grinning like a school boy who knew he couldn’t get into trouble with his teacher.

“I’m sorry, my old friend. Old love makes me a young fool,” Charles says in a way of explaining his constant need to be distracted by Erik.

Hank groans at the pair, “Charles, please. I am begging you, just keep your boyfriend out of the common areas and we’ll have no further issues.” Hank rubbed at his face, having not put his glasses back on as he considered the most recent incident involving Erik and Charles.

A student had found them in the broom closet. Hank didn’t want to know how they managed to fit Charles’ wheelchair into it or why they needed to use a closet when they had Charles’ rooms. All that Hank really knew was that Wade was most likely behind it, ever since he ran into Erik, more unusual things had been happening at the mansion.

“Boyfriend? How juvenile,” Erik’s disdain could easily be heard as he sneered at Hank.

Hank rolled his eyes back at Erik, “Yes, it is rather childish for grown men to be found by a student in a closet while making out.” Erik and Charles had the decency to look sheepish at how they were discovered, no one had mentioned Erik being on Charles’ lap while making out or where their hands were.

“We did earn bragging rights for being able to fit into small spaces,” Charles mentioned, smirking at Erik as Hank’s face became a deep shade of purple.

“Class dismissed!” Hank called out, turning around and refusing to face either mutant any longer.

Charles and Erik laughed as they left Hank’s office.
