“Do you ever feel,” Jesse said slowly, “that we are all just kind of little orbs, living inside our bodies and using them like robots? Little fleshy robots.”
Adam turned his head to look at him. “All the time.”
Jesse grinned. “Okay good. Because I was worried that was just me being insanely high.”
Adam laughed, shoulders shaking. “No yeah. You are definitely insanely high. But also insanely right.”
