Celine turned to Zoey, a serious look on her face. As always. And began to speak in a slow and calm voice. As always.
"Now, Zoey, summon your weapon."
Zoey grinned to herself. Finally! She had waited soooo long for this moment.
Celine watched closely, wondering what weapon Zoey would get. Some sort of blade was all she knew. 'This had better go right,' she thought.
…what?
"This can't be right."
Zoey grinned like a maniac, proudly swinging her new GUN around. Why. Why. After years-CENTURIES-of hunters and blades-A GUN?
"Oh, I think it's pretty right, Celine!"
Celine buried her head in her hands. Not. Helpful. Zoey!
