   Summary

   Mikey was the total package: a sorta-rockstar, a total party animal, and beautiful. All of the shit in his life made the dopamine rushes more enjoyable and sought after. The pride he feels at the end of the day after avoiding any substantial food, getting high or drunk and feeling more carefree than he could ever feel sober, sleeping with some guy he didn’t know and feeling heavenly for a solid few seconds. He had his life figured out. 

   But sometimes the pride he felt didn't overpower the hunger. Sometimes getting trashed just ended up in him feeling more messed up in the head than he would've been if he were sober. And Pete really didn't feel all that much like a stranger anymore.
