Summary
“Your turn to say it,” Eunhyuk breathes out, “your turn to say it, my rival.”
A rival for a home, a place to belong to. A rival for true love.
Dohwa says those three words back, Eunhyuk leans over and kisses him. Dohwa is right from the start; Eunhyuk is a good kisser, and his soft, sweet, pink lips are marvellous to kiss, and it’s beautiful and loving and it makes Dohwa feel so warm that he feels like he could cry. He can taste the mango dessert they had on his lips. He can taste that similar starving for love.
(Dohwa felt then, like he had finally found home. Eunhyuk kisses him on the forehead and they’re smiling and he’s loved.)
Dohwa and Eunhyuk decide to battle it out, to see who deserves Su Ae more — to see who can win her heart. In the process, they grow closer, form a strong bond; and subsequently fall in love.
