It had been one month since Percy and Jason started dating. Jason wanted to do something to celebrate.
Percy had made a more permanent stay in Gotham, though he wasn’t always living there, but Jason knew that Percy planned to be in Gotham for their anniversary.
For their anniversary, Jason made a home cooked meal, it was one of the first meals that Alfred had taught him when Jason came back.
Jason hummed as he moved around the kitchen, taking the casserole out as the timer went off, turning off the oven and timer, making sure it cooled down before putting it on the table.
Jason continued moving around, setting out the plates, utensils, cups, and whatever else he needed.
Lastly, as Jason started to hear the sound of keys close to his door, he lit two long candles.
Percy walked in, smiling slightly with a small thing of what looked like a book bouquet.
Jason smiled, making his way over to Percy who kicked off his shoes and met him half-way, tilting his head up to quickly kiss Jason.
“Happy one month anniversary,” he murmured against Jason’s lips. Jason smiled, pulling away.
Percy laughed a bit, handing him the book bouquet he had.
Jason took a look through it, there were some classics that Jason had been meaning to get for a while.
“Thank you,” he smiled, putting them on his little coffee table before dragging Percy over to the dinner table.
“Now, time to eat,” he said smiling.
God how he loved his boyfriend.
