“I’m so cold…”
“You have so many layers how are you still cold?”
I put my hands in my pockets to maximize the warmth, but! It’s no use…im still cold despite wearing my winter uniform, 2 jackets, 2 scarfs, and gloves.
After school we were both walking home together.
“Satsuki-san, how are you not cold?” I mumbled through my tattered teeth “you’re only wearing a scarf…”
The beautiful woman beside me with her long lushes black hair and her pale skin like snow simply shrugged “i’m used to it i guess”
“..!”
She touches the back of my neck and I shrieked at how at how cold her finger tips were
“Wow! An ice queen through and through. Not only is her heart and mind cold as ice but also her bod—Gya!”
I stopped walking and was immediately was assaulted with a single chop of the head. Ah… I could feel my consciousness fading. Am i gonna die…? Im sorry everyone. Mom, dad, sis, everyone from the queentet…I tried my best, im sorry I couldn’t be enough…
“Amaori, stop being dramatic . It’s embarrassing i didn’t even hit you that hard” Satsuki huffed and flipped her black hair, her lips curved into a cruel sly smile. It was a sight to see.
“Easy for you to say!” I was holding my head in my hands “How is a thin girl like you so strong!”
“Oh, your still talking? Maybe I should hit you again to the point you turn mute and stop saying such unnecessary things”
“Thats scary!”
We looked at each other and laughed at our little banter. “You and your silly expressions” she smiled at me and once again I was reminded at how beautiful she truly is.
She stopped walking and I stopped too.
“Here”
She opened one of her hands to me and I tilted my head as I was struck with confusion by her action.
“You said your were cold right?”She said while shyly, her ears were red and I could see a faint blush on her cheek. Scratching her cheek, with her other hand looking to the side to avoid locking eyes with me.
“Oh” I blinked and hurriedly took the glove out of one of my hand and and grab the hand that reached out to me.
Strangely enough the heat from her hands spread through my body and I didn’t feel cold anymore. It was warm. She was warm.
“Hehehe”I smiled cheekily
“What’s with that its creepy”
“Hey!”

‘Cute’ Satsuki thought as she looked at her. Amaori with her face displaying a foolish smile. Her ears were red, her face was flustered and it spread to her neck. ‘Cute’ she thought again. She suppressed the urge to say such things so instead she shot something nasty which was the opposite of what she wanted to say.
“What’s with that its creepy”
“Hey!”
“You look like a pervert”
“That’s rude Satsuki-san! I was just enjoying Satsuki-san’s hand because its warm” she mumbles
“…you—!” Just as her flustered face formed it disappeared in an instant, but, inside she thought ‘seriously what’s with this girl! Does she not understand her own words? Goodness this girl is troublesome’
She sighed in annoyance and smiled again, looking at Amaori and locked their fingers together. Renako Amaori was taken aback.
They started walking again and this time there was silence between them. Not the awkward kind but the time silence were they simply enjoy each other’s presence.
