I find the dynamics between those two interesting. Zhixing all fierce, hot and cold all the same, his temper quite like his father's though his morals are very different. Zang Hai cool, controlled, calculating, unless something really gets through his iron shell. Both of them realistic, pragmatic, supremely capable, and very clear about themselves and about the other. This would make any attempt at a personal (rather than utilitarian) relationship challenging: They have to give up some of their reserve. They'd have to negotiate. They'd have to trust in a context where mistrust and suspicion have been life-saving. For two people of their calibre and mindset, that would be difficult...Series
