    "Frank." Matt says, voice quiet. "Breathe." Frank flushes. Never going to get used to the hearing thing. Invasive. Like chaining a man to a roof and taping a gun to his hand. Matt probably won't ever get used to his jumpy pulse either, so it's a two-way street. Matt sits at the end of the bed.

    After the events of An Understanding, Frank is ordered by Claire to stay in the base and heal up. The other Defenders and friends adjust to the awkward presence of the Punisher lurking around the base. Meanwhile, Matt seems to be avoiding him following letting slip his feelings in a moment of worry.
