Summary
Chorus was born where voices overlapped, where no single truth could stand alone without being argued into shape. They learned early to listen more than to act, to gather meaning from contradiction, to exist in the space between versions of the same event. Cities rose and fell around them, each calling them kin in different ways, each feeding them story, ritual, and remembrance.
One day, out of restlessness rather than malice, Chorus sought an answer that should not have been asked. The answer arrived fractured, unfinished, and impossible to ignore. From that moment forward, silence became a threat and unity a warning. In trying to preserve themselves, Chorus ensured the unraveling of what they loved most, mistaking survival for necessity.
