Don’t:
1. Do not mention Ash’s Kanto days or she will go into a rant about how “unfairly” his gym challenge was handled.
2: Do not mention Max while she is in earshot. She hates that kid.
3: Do not mention anything about Red. She doesn’t like that.
3.5: Along with 3, do not ask her to go find him. She knows exactly where he is and wishes to leave him alone. So should you…unless you’re that kid with the yellow cap.
4. Do not mention the state of some gyms, especially Blackthron’s Gym. How that was allowed is beyond her and nobody has the mental capacity to deal with her right now, much less her starting a fight with Clair or, Arceus forbid, the league over it.*
5: Do not challenge her to a battle when she is in a bad mood. You will regret that.
6: Do not hand her a Pokédex and ask her to use it. She will not take it.
6.5: Do not quiz her on the knowledge in said Pokédex. Especially if you are a new trainer, chances are she knows a lot more than you do about pokemon and how said Pokédex works and you will be soundly beaten, unless it’s Alola (was focusing on herself in that region) or Paldea (had other stuff going on.)
7: Do not ask her why she isn’t a gym leader/elite four member/champion yet.
8: If she drags you off on one of her saving the world adventures, just go with it. Chances are you’re a part of her plan and you’re not getting out of it…or being told what said plan is.
9: Do not ask her about anything related to Mew. She will shut down and not respond for hours.
10: Do not compare her to Ash Ketchum or remind her of him. She does that enough on her own.
11: If you see her in Alola, chances are she’s probably off to see Nanu to either mess with him or bring her food. Do not bother her.
12: Do not ask her if herself, Jessie, and James are in a relationship.
12.5: On second thought don’t ask any of them that question. You will get mixed responses.
12.8: If you have to ask anyone, ask Meowth.
13: Do not ask her if she competed in the Alola League. She hated that league and will go off on a rant similar to 1.
14: Do not ask her about her adventures in Paldea.
14.5: Or some Unova things either.
