What happened sweet kitty, why did you go astray?
Where are you my kitty? Did someone call you away?
I miss your meowing, your headbutts, your sweet silky purr
Cause wherever you are now I cant pet your soft fur.
Where are you my kitty, what happened that day?
Were you chasing some yarn and it just rolled too far away?
I hope that you’re happy, wherever you are.
With snuggles, and head pats, and fresh cream from a jar.
With cat treats and tickles and plenty of fun.
Pet time and play time then nap curled up in the sun.
I hope you get showered with love when you stir.
Cause wherever you are now I can’t pet your soft fur.
What happened sweet kitty, why did you go astray?
I hope that they love you, if someone took you away.
Just know that I love you, for just who you are.
And know that I miss you, please don’t stray too far.
If somebody hurt you I hope that they’ll pay,
But its not so great here, and you were too good to stay.
