"Haitham." He called out to his sleeping boyfriend next to him.
It has been a month since they got together and had to figure out how to navigate their new relationship.
Alhaitham had suggested they sleep in the same bed to get used to being physically close to each other again.
In fact, most of Alhaithams suggestions were related to physical touch, like holding hands in public.
It took Kaveh a while to get used to all this and their new dynamic.
"Haitham." He called out to his sleeping boyfriend once again.
"Wake up, or you'll be late for work."
On one hand, he felt bad for waking up Alhaitham he looked so peaceful and beautiful when he was asleep.
Alhaitham let out a low noise and slowly opened his eyes and looked up to Kaveh with sleepy teal eyes.
"Morning, beautiful." He mumbled while his fingers reached out to Kaveh's face to brush away golden strands of hair.
Kaveh's head dipped down to place a sweet and loving kiss on Alhaitham's forhead. "You need to get up, Haithoomi."
Alhaitham let out a low hum and slowly sat up and hugged Kaveh and buried his head in his shoulder.
"Just a few more minutes, then I'll go."
Kaveh sighed and hugged his still sleepy lover. "A few more minutes cuddling, but then you'll get up, alright?"
That was all the confirmation Alhaitham needed to pull Kaveh back down and hug him tightly. "Mhm."
Now trapped underneath Alhaitham, he let his hands run through silver hair. "Next time, I won't fall for this just so you know."
Alhaitham kissed his lover and smiled. "I know, my love."
