Alhaitham wakes up with amnesia. The hows and whys of waking up with amnesia don’t seem to concern him as much as trying to figure out what the deal between him and his very attractive roommate is. Having nobody to confide in, he resorts to writing to Sumeru’s most popular advice column, The Wanderer’s Advice, for help. Before long, seemingly everyone in Sumeru City gets swept up in the story of Ardent Admirer and their clueless beloved.
Everyone except Kaveh, for better or for worse.

“Can’t help thinking what?” he asked, voice low and void of any teasing. His gaze flat, his breathing calm. Kaveh fumed at the fact that he was the only one visibly affected.
“Can’t help thinking that I’m going to lose everything to the sands again.”
Perhaps only his father had died in the desert, but Kaveh’s entire home ended up swallowed by those same quicksands too.OR: Kaveh and Alhaitham find themselves unpacking their own feelings instead of packing their bags.
