Chapter Text
The survivors were in the cabin, locked away from the world, in a realm that something called the Specter had trapped them. Yet the mood was upbeat with Chance and Guest 1337 having a hearty chat, Shedletsy trying to make pizza, while Elliot tried to make fried chicken, and the others hung around doing everything and nothing at the same time.
Duseakarr spoke up, interrupting everyone's mild enjoyment, “Fellow souls, I believe the beast that has jailed us here has sent a vision!”
“So the ghost freak is telling us something?” Shedlestsy translated.
“Correct, dear friend…”
Chance flicked his stylish hair over his shoulder before smirking, “Hope it's a break from getting slaughtered in those rounds?” To which most of the others agreed.
“Whatever it is, bad or good, let's not let whatever it has to say get to us.” Elliot smiled softly, his kindness and nativity never seeming to run out.
The group wandered to the TV stationed in the middle of the cabin as it flickered to life with a hum. Static played on the screen before a distorted version of the killers' songs rang out altogether; the mood was unnerving. Some of the weaker members flinched.
“W3LL, W3LL, W3LL…”
The sound of the Specter's voice sliced into them, not coming from the TV but echoing all around them.
Elliot, sweet boy, shivered.
“MY P3TS…” It rumbled all around them.
Chance looked personally insulted by the remark, while Guest’s face couldn’t hide his annoyance, though he didn’t have the pride to challenge it. Chance, however, did.
“You might have us cooped up in here like pets, but keep your ego down, you're nothing more than a jailer-”
His haughty tone was interrupted as it spoke again.
“B0Y. K33P Y0UR M0UTH CL0S3D B3F0RE 1 R3M0VE 1T.”
Guest moved in front of him protectively, while it continued.
“1TS L0NG 0V3RDU3 F0R A SWAP… Y0UR TURN T0 B3 TH3 K1LL3RS, TH0UGH THE TRANSF0RMAI0N W0NT B3 QU1CK…”
And with that, it was gone.
