Chapter Text
- [ ] Hank used to pride himself on being the stealthiest out of his friends, being able to carry out entire missions without getting caught, and anyone who dared to hear him were already chopped meat.
- [ ] Whenever it came to you, oh god. You made him feel like the clunkiest loudest man that ever lived. All previous stealth training thrown out the window.
- [ ] but at one point he stopped trying to be stealthy around you, no matter what he tried you would always catch him.
- [ ] In the beginning he thought that the screams and pleads of dying grunts and agents under his bloodied hands were annoying, but your pleads and screams were sooo addictive and adorable.
- [ ] He could listen to your yelps and whimpers of fear all day, having ingrained into his memory (he refuses to let himself forget)
- [ ] He glad he’s the only one who can drive true terror into your eyes, if anyone else could, well,, he’d be glad to show them the reason why he’s Nevada’s most wanted.
- [ ] Laying in your bed, wrapped in a fire blanket despite it being almost 70 degrees outside, pondering the reason why Nevada’s most notorious killer was stalking you.
- [ ] You worked at The A.A.H.W as a ATP Engineer, though your job wasn’t carrying out experiments or guarding the various buildings. Your job was to transport materials from location to location.
- [ ] Your fellow Engineers say you drew the long end of the stick, even then, it’s not an easy job.
- [ ] You were driving down the dirt road, listening to rock music as loud as you wanted, as today you were hauling ammunition rather then new recruits.
- [ ] The music was so loud you didn’t hear the smaller truck pull up next to yours. Deimos and Hank in the bed ready to pounce onto your trailer.
- [ ] Deimos shouted at Hank to try and fill him on the mini mission they had. Shouting to be louder then the music and both engines of the trucks.
- [ ] He explained that it was Hank’s job to highjack the driver and to drive the truck carefully while Deimos extracts the equipment.
- [ ] Hank let out a groan as he wanted to take the equipment out of the trailer. But he didn’t want to complain.
- [ ] Him stepping onto the rim of the stairs that lead to the driver’s side door is what finally alerted you to their presence. The top of his black do-rag and red tinted goggles exclaimed who he was to you.
- [ ] Turning down the music slightly, you opened the door with as much velocity as you could while not letting go of the wheel in an attempt to knock him off.
- [ ] That was a mistake
- [ ] Hank grabbed the handle that you used to open the door, shoving your hand off of it. Pulling himself up the stairs he shoves himself into the seat pushing you aside.
- [ ] You landed onto the passenger’s side your legs still in driver’s area, now draped over Hank’s he quickly took control. Slowing down the trailer just enough so that Deimos could hop on and unload it.
- [ ] Hank didn’t need to pay much attention to the road as it was just a straight line, so he diverted a little bit of his attention to you. He expected you to be dead as anyone else he pulled this menuver on would already be dead.
- [ ] But you? Oh poor you,, knocked out cold from the impact against the opposing armrest.
- [ ] Deimos banged his hand against the inside of the trailer, signaling Hank to stop driving, in which he did. Now all of his attention was on your cold form
- [ ] The large helmet obscured his view of you but he could see your eyes closed tight through the yellow tinted glass.
- [ ] He gripped your wrists to pull your almost lifeless body to his, dragging you into his lap, he pulled off your mask to see a little bit of yellow blood dripped from your mouth
- [ ] He rested your back against the wheel, spreading your legs to straddle him. He didn’t intend to be in such a sexualized position but all he wanted in the moment was to just explore your body.
- [ ] He was just about to pry open your eyes, until a knock on the door distracted him, he opened the door to be greeted with his other co-worker, Sanford.
- [ ] He says that Hank should come and help unload the trailer as it is a lot.
- [ ] Hank grumbled his normal grievances as he pushed your body off of his, knowing that if he didn’t get up now, that both Sanford and Deimos would drag him out of the tractor.
- [ ] Once the bed of the truck was packed, Deimos pulled his walkie-talkie out of his back pocket in order to call Doc to bring the other truck (as they had miscalculated how much ammo would be stored in the trailer)
- [ ] Hank did something that day that he never does, talk.
- [ ] Hank had, unbeknownst to him, fallen head over heels for you. He tried his best to express this emotion to his teammates, but he had 1. Never talked to them before this and 2. Had never felt this way about someone.
- [ ] Let’s just say he had a hard time.
- [ ] Sanford and Deimos, though confused about Hank’s sudden speech. They eventually figured out that Hank wanted to leave the rest of the load in the trailer, they both assumed it was because Hank didn’t want the make the second trip, but it was actually because Hank knew that if you returned to the place you were hauling to empty-handed, they would kill you.
- [ ] His once cold and still heart had rushed at the thought of you not being alive anymore.
- [ ] That was your first meeting with Hank, or his with you. You had no recollection of what happened after you were knocked out.
