She nods energetically and he nods back a little, which seems to satisfy her because she turns back into her seat. "Maybe you'll even finally meet a girl..." Beth suggests, earning a quiet groan out of Deacon.
"Mom, no. I'm going to be focused on my classes. Not on dating." Deacon crosses his arms and shakes his head.
Dale chuckles from the driver seat, keeping one hand on the steering wheel and placing his other on Beth's on the center console. "You never know, son. You may end up meeting a great love, if not the love of your life there." He smiles at his wife before turning back to the road.
