November 8th 1983.
The quarry.
Mike Wheeler remembers that night very clearly, the night were Will died, the night the police took out Will's body from the water, the night were he cried in his mama's arms, the night that Will was declared dead. But Mike never stopped believing he was alive, Will had to be, he had too, It was Will, he wouldnt die that easily! Mike visited Will's grave as much as he could, lips trembling everytime. March 22th and November 6th felt like an attack to the chest, not Just to him, but also to the others
He tried to move on, he Really did, he briefly dated El, till 1986, when the two realizes they werent meant for eachother and they didnt understood eachother. Mike barely understood himself.
But they didn't had time to worry about that, since ever since 1983 they had shit coming at them, 1983: They fought a demogorgan. 1984: mrs Byers dated a guy named Bob, who had a son, Leo, Who had been possessed and didn't make It, rip.
1985: the Brother of a girl they Met last year: Max, was possessed and they destroyed a mall, and Hopper died, El was very sad.
1986: Vecna appeared, Max was in a coma, Hopper was apparentely Alive and dating mrs Byers.
And now, 1987: they had crawls to find Vecna and kill him.
They didn't know that during that crawl, they would find something, or well... Someone.
Will Byers didn't knew how much time had passed, he just remembers waking up in the library with a fine down his troat, with all the force he had left, he cut It down and breathed heavily as he was free.
He ran, ran till he was gone.
Years passed, but to Will, It felt like an eternity, he adapted to the upside down, relieing on himself, he found his gun back and some other bullets.
In the time he was in the upside down, his hair got messier, his clothes got too small and ragged, and he managed to find some new ones, but with everything that happened, those clothes got ragged, and he has dirti and dried Blood all over him.
But Henry, oh Henry, he didn't want to let Will go, and he found him, again.
But what happened next shocked Will, Henry was ready to kill him, at least Will assumed, he closed his eyes, tears in his eyes, but then... Will felt a sudden Energy running through him, he opened his eyes and they werent hazel anymore, they were pitch white, he raised both of his hand and threw Henry away.
His eyes returned hazel and blood dripped from his nose, but before asking questions, Will ran, feeling a shiver on his neck.
He ran and ran.
And he didn't understood why Henry wasn't so interested in him all of a sudden.
It was the year of 1986... But of course Will didn't knew It.
So Will took the upperhand, while Henry was busy with the other victims, Will praticed his new "powers", he had no idea how to use them, but he slowly learned how to control them a little bit.
“come back to me in one piece, ok?" Joyce said before Hopper enteres the tunnels, "It's a crawl like every other one, Joyce, nothing out of the ordinary Is gonna happened" Hopper said getting in the tunnels, despite a snort from Joyce.
Like usual Hopper did the entire thing of entering the military van and getting a free ride, well free as long as you don't get cut, but this time was different.
A demogorgan attacked the van.
And Hopper some how made It out Alive, injuried and with no way out? Absolutely, but alive.
Henry Creel mind was a mess, Will knew It, he entered once or twice in this past year and learned some things about him, such as his name or his childhood.
But Will was careful, he didn't enter Henry's mind frequentely, Henry could locate him easily if he did and After what happened years ago, Will didn't want that.
Will lived moving place to place, he made some rules from himself:
1) don't sleep for more than 3 hours. It's Better to move around and not sleep in the same Place for too long
2) don't stay in the same Place. He learned his lesson After hiding in Castle byers and a demogorgan found him easily.
3)don't make noise. Like a horror movie, to stay alive, being silent Is the best idea.
4)don't get injured. Self explenatory
5) don't trust those military guys. One time he was caught by a group of them, they were ready to shoot, but Will killed them all with his mind, It didn't felt good, he was so guilty. And all the Blood on his clothes did not help.
Will couldn't remember the last time he drank or eaten, he didn't remember what warmt felt like, how bright the world was, how day and night were or what It felt not looking around your shoulder every two minutes.
The upside down Is always dark, Always cold, Always filled with monsters. Will had no idea how he survived this far, but he was Just glad he was still alive.
If he was still alive, Will didn't know of he was trully Alive or if he died and his mind created this Place to keep him hopeful that maybe One day he could go home.
The only things that kept him going were his desire to go back and to see his family and his friends, and Mike, God he missed Mike, again. He wanted to see them again. He passed in front of their house frequentely, his Heart aching everytime
Had they given up on him? Was a question that kept popping in his head
He hoped not, they were the only reasons he didn't accept his face yet, but if they gave up on Will. Should he give up too?
Will quickly shocked the thought away. He had to keep going, he did It for so long, so what is a Little longer.
He didn't know that his Life was about change, again.
