Preface:
Hello!
To begin with a simple introduction: Tablestuck is a TTRPG focused on emulating Sburb through a text medium. The base system was created by Camyosh, showcased at SAHCON in 2019. The resources can be found online at https://homestuck.net/games/tabletop.html if you're at all interested in running a game yourself, which I highly recommend!
Within my friend group, I have played, at the time of writing, five different sessions of Tablestuck. It's gotten so much bigger than I ever thought it would when we started. I had no idea I would create something that meant so much to my friends back then-- in essence, it's given us all brainworms.
This exists here to cement some of the more canon details in the semi-contiguous story that has unfolded over the course of our games. This is not only for archival purposes, but for the enjoyment and inspiration for others!
This fic uses custom formatting to emulate the Homestuck style. For accessibility purposes (screen readers, etc.), I believe there should be an option at the top to convert this all into plaintext. If that is not the case, then I apologize. I'm not very familiar with the mechanics of Ao3.

With this, I fully intend to not only summarize our experiences as friends, but the story I've written as the GM of the campaigns.
All of the following is up to date as of the 1st of March, 2025.

Description: Hi! That's Me! This credit roll is written in order of appearances in games, with May through Fern being present for the first iteration, all the way to Shiloh being the latest addition to our player count.
May was the GM first before I ever was. Quickly, though, we came to the conclusion that things would be more efficient if we "co-GM-ed." I was brought on halfway through Tablestuck 1. Our position kept the same in Tablestuck 2, but in Tablestuck 3, May stepped down and I became the sole GM.

Description: May is my girlfriend of two years at the time of writing. She was the one who came up with the idea for a Tablestuck game. In Tablestuck 1 and 2, she basically trained me to be able to use the technology to great effect.

Adrian Kimdracula: Cory Turner, Kane D'Amore, Foziek Saitov, Iavrix Lorkuz, Zephyros
Description: Adrian is one of my longest lasting internet friends besides May. He's been ride-or-die with Tablestuck ever since the first incarnation, and I've been happy to have him as a player for all of his roles (except Foziek) (fuck you, Foziek). He's sort of what you could describe as chronically online, but it's not a point of embarrassment for him, as far as I can tell; he's pretty unabashed in his interests and hyperfixations, to varying degrees of success.
For example, Foziek was the result of his obsession with Adam Stanheight from Saw. Iavrix's original idea was spawned from a Viva Pinata, Posca Von Gabba and speedcore hyperfixation, specifically with the pinata motif that I think is present.
Adrian is poly; his girlfriend is currently spectating.

Callie Dogelord: Cali Jonsson, Vrizum Zarzun, Feigni Enzegi
Description: Callie was with us for Tablestuck 1 through 3. She liked cars, videogames, etc. We (as in our whole friendgroup at large) had a falling out around a year ago. We did not separate amicably in the slightest. We do not wish to contact her, and she does not wish to contact us, and we are fine with that.

Fern Thing: Fern Florer, Soda Pop
Description: Fern is an interesting case. He is May's friend of a friend, the latter of which we later found was doing some very *unsavory* things. Fern stuck around after that to join the Minecraft server that begot the first iteration of Tablestuck.
Fern suffered a mental break during the first game, and dropped out. We had issues with him at the time and decided to cut contact. A year or so after everything had gone down, ironically, I was laying on my phone in my girlfriend's bed and I somehow accidentally invited him to a couple discord servers after nearly a year without contact. He has returned for Tablestuck 4 onward, playing probably one of my favorite characters (don't tell the others I said that).

Matias Poserofficial: Azar Emerson, Zara Emerson
Description: Matias is a friend who was a grade under me in high school. I knew him tangentially, but we got to know each other in senior year after him, my other friend and I found ourselves to be the only ones who actually worked on my school's newspaper. He likes GURPS and runs it sometimes with others in a Cyberpunk setting, I think. I know jack-diddly-shit about GURPS, but from what I saw looking over his shoulder, it looked complicated and fucked up.
Matias is our token cisgender.

Aliss Char: Kip Trix
Description: Aliss was briefly with us for Tablestuck 4. Fern invited them. It's slightly recent in my memory (around six months ago ATOW) that they were just slightly cumbersome to GM for. I will save my commentary for later.
Aliss divorced themself from our friend group after a situation that isn't be relevant to the current topic at hand.

Casey Drow: Callax Tridor, Ferlit Tevren, Varya Trainer
Description: Casey was invited by Aliss, who was in turn invited by Fern, which ultimately fell down to luck, honestly. Casey has been a great player and a good friend since I've got to meet them. They're looking to go to vet school as far as I'm aware.

Shiloh Eclipse: Stevie Maris, Mika Winters
Description: Shiloh's the most recent entry, joining about a month ago (ATOW). Shiloh and I are in an IRL D&D campaign together and frequently looks over my shoulder in sessions. A Homestuck fan in hibernation, they asked to be a part of the campaign after they realized what exactly I was DM-ing.
