Summary
Sandra considers herself to be the ideal woman who loves many things: she cooks, she cleans, she tends to her garden, and she runs a tight ship at home. But if there's one thing that Sandra hates, it's her next-door neighbor, Jules.
Jules is everything that Sandra can't stand: she's foul-mouthed, she's filthy, she's mannish, and the very picture of your strong-armed butch dyke. Sandra thinks that Jules' very existence is a crime against nature.
But when her husband and children go on an impromptu camping trip, Sandra is left alone in the presence of "that thing," and she awakens to hidden desires that threaten to uproot everything that Sandra knows about herself and her neighborhood.
