"Victoria..." Dr. Shamsi spoke with a stern voice, addressing her daughter as she pulled into the parking lot.
Javadi, aware of how far she could take the whole scrolling through feed bit, met her mother's expectant gaze with one of impatience.
"You weren't listening to a single a word I said, were you?"
Javadi rolled her eyes as she pulled the visor open and began to fix her hair "Probably because I've already committed the lecture to memory."
Which was true, ever since she started her fourth year of medical school, her mother has been on her case about how surgery was obviously the best career path and how Dr. Garcia would just love to mentor her. Not only that but, somehow, word of her crush on a certain curly haired nurse made it's way to her mother's ears and now it's being used against her.
"And?" Dr. Shamsi closed the visor as Victoria finished putting on lip gloss.
"It is just a sub-internship for right now." Javadi thumped her head back, already tired and her hasn't even started "Do we really have to talk about this now?"
Dr. Shamsi let out an exasperated sigh "When it involves that boy you have a crush on, yes. You need to be certain about your decision and I don't think you can be if you're distracted–"
"I'm not doing this." Javadi's voice shook as she practically kicked her door open "For your information, I stopped crushing on him when I moved to Internal Medicine. And I'd appreciate it, if you didn't think me stupid enough–"
"I'm not saying you're stupid but how can you expect me to not to think..." the door slammed shut before she could finish her question "So much for that conversation."
