As happy as she was, Kyoka was also extremely nervous. She was about to marry the love of her life, a dream many people share.
Walking down the aisle, her arms linked with both her parents’, was a moment she was sure she’d never forget. The second Denki saw her, he looked stunned. Then, he smiled at her with nothing but pure love. How had she gotten someone so amazing to look at her like that?
Denki looked gorgeous as well. Kyoka couldn’t take her eyes off how all the lanterns around the venue reflected off her partner. The way his eyes shone with excitement. How he just couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.
The room was beautiful too. Lanterns lined the walls and the aisle, creating a path for Kyoka to follow, and lighting up the room with sparkling light. Purple and yellow flowers decorated the place with pops of color.
“You look… amazing,” Denki breathed when Kyoka was finally right across from him.
“So do you,” Kyoka whispered back.
Usually, she wouldn’t be so emotional, but Kyoka cried through all her vows. “Denki, I admit when I first met you, I never expected to fall in love with you. But throughout our first year at UA, you somehow managed your way into my heart. You are like my other half, someone I know will always be by my side. And I will be yours, no matter what life has in store for us.”
(A/N: Okay, I have no clue how to write vows. I’m sorry.)
Denki also cried while saying his vows. “I always dreamed I’d one day find the perfect match for me. I had never expected UA would be the place I’d find her, but then I met you. You bring out the best in me in a way nobody else ever has. You are my best friend and the love of my life. No matter what, I’ll always be there for you. Because much like all these lanterns, you’re my light in the dark.”
(A/N: I feel like that was super frickin cheesy)
They placed the rings on each other’s hands as the officiant began the official marriage part of the ceremony.
“I do.” Both of them had said the words with no hesitation when it was time.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss,” The officiant finally said. Kyoka jumped right into Denki’s arms, kissing him.
It was certainly the best day of both of their lives.
