Welcome to the Perihelion

Summary:

Iris has to watch a friend's cat for three days. Murderbot and ART decide to take over....a bit much-ly.

Work Text:

Panel one: closeup of an orange cat licking its paws. Dialogue: MB: What's that? ART: That is a felis catus. Iris is watching it for three cycles. Panel 2: Murderbot glares at the cat, who notices it. ART is represented as blue swirls wrapped around MB. ART and MB: ... Panel 3: Cat walks to MB and starts rubbing against its legs. MB stares at it as Iris walks on screen with a yellow cat toy. Panel 4: Murderbot and ART watch as Iris gives the cat the toy, saying, Welcome to the Perihelion, kitty! Panel 5: Splash page of Murderbot sitting in a blue chair surrounded by cat walks on the walls, a ridiculously ornate cat house, several cat trees and scratching posts, and cat toys. There is a display screen on the wall showing four angles of the cat playing via drone cams. The cat is on a carpet playing with a simple ball. ART-drone is leaning on MB's shoulder as they watch media. Text over the feed: Iris: Isn't this a bit much, Peri? ART: I don't know what you mean, Iris. Murderbot looks content.
