Little Trinity just makes me want to wrap her up so bad. I also promise another part is coming to the puppy girl santos series! I just had the brain worms and had to write this. Thanks to all the folks who I bounced ideas off of.

Work Text:

1.

“Mama, Look!” Trinity said, doing a handstand to show her mama. Her pigtails falling and hitting the ground as her shirt rode down her stomach.

“You’re doing such a good job baby, just be careful,” Yolanda said, eagle eyed watching her girl. Trinity had a long week and had dropped last night, seeming like it was going to be a full weekend Garcia and Ellis were ready to spend the whole time with their girl. Trinity stood back up straight.

“Gonna show Mommy, Mama!” Trinity tells her, “Mommy home soon?”

“Yes sweetheart,” Yolanda said picking out the grass from her hair, “Mommy had to go meet Uncle Jack for some work things, she should be home soon.” The work thing being dropping off an emergency little bag for Trinity at PTMC, which they did as soon as she off-handedly mentioned she didn’t have one there.

“Mmmkay.” Trinity continued to practice her handstand, showed her mama how stretchy she was. She cartwheeled which made Yolanda a little nervous, worried about Trinity’s coordination but it was like riding a bike for Trinity and she could always remember.

“Well looks like we’ve got a very active kiddo on our hands, huh?” Parker said leaning against the back door after sliding it open.

“Mommy!” Trinity ran up and jumped on her mommy giving her a kiss on the cheek.

“Hey girlie, have you been having fun with your mama?” Trinity nodded. “Uncle Jack sent me home with something for you.” Trinity smiled, in the past the little would have cringed at gifts for her but she’s grown so much.

“Mommy! Show you gym-na-stics.” Trinity over pronounced the word so she wouldn’t stumble over it. Parker nodded to her, letting her down. Trinity took a deep breath, and does a handstand, she then moves and does a cartwheel, and then something she hadn’t shown her mama which was a standing backflip.

“Trinity be careful!” Garcia stressed as the little started to flip. She landed on her feet, but stumbled back causing her to land on her butt. Tears well up in Trinity’s eyes. Garcia and Ellis rush to the little.

“Stupid, stupid, stupid.” Trinity says banging on her head.

“Hey none of that my sweet,” Parker pulls her hands down, “breathe with Mommy, Trinity.” Parker over exaggerated deep breaths in and out. The little slowly started to calm down.

“Are you okay, niña? Did you hurt yourself?” Garcia asked already looking over her.

“ ’M okay. Just scared ’nd ’mbarrassed.” Trinity responds, looking at her feet. “Wanted to show you how good I was.”

“You did such a good job baby, we all make mess up and fall sometimes, your mama and I could never do some of the flips you do.” Parker reassured her. “Now that we’re done with tears you want to go see the new toy uncle Jack got you?”

“Yah!” Trinity pops up excited and runs to the house.
2.
Trinity jumped up as soon as she heard the door open. She liked hanging out with her friends, but she was so happy mama and mommy were home. “Mama! Mommy!” She screamed and ran.

“Trin, wait, don’t-“ Dennis yelled, but the little was already to the front door and jumping into Parker’s arms and squeezing hard.

“Hi, baby,” Parker chuckled, supporting the little.

“Missed youse!” She planted a kiss on Parker’s cheek, and then turned to reach toward her mama.

“We missed you too, corazonita,” Yolanda said, taking Trinity into her arms.

“She was great, we’re glad you two still got to go out.” Dennis told Ellis as he and Victoria got ready to leave. Trinity was wrapped around Yolanda, head on her shoulder as the big people talk. She had fun with Bunny and Rocky but she was tired. She whined in her mama’s arms. Yolanda shushed her and rubbed her back in slow, soothing circles.

“Alright I’m gonna take this kiddo to bed, you wanna say bye Trin?” The sleepy little looked up and realized that Bunny and Rocky were leaving, which was sad but also meant Mama and Mommy were done being out.

“Bye-Bye Bunny, Bye-Bye Rocky, me ‘n Snow’re gonna miss you.” Trinity waved and clutched the new stuffed bunny, Snow in her arms.

“Thanks again guys,” Yolanda said, a little surprised at the nicknames. She began walking Trinity up to bed rocking her to help her settle.

“Bunny and Rocky huh? I’m assuming Rocky’s not a boxing reference.” Parker smirked at the two.

“She’s still a nicknamer,” Dennis chuckled, “I have about 30 rocks from her at this point? I think she just knows I can’t tell her no.”

“And this was like, my second time seeing her little? First time being with her for more than a few minutes, I brought her the bunny, which is now named snow, so I get to helm the nickname of Bunny.” Victoria tells Parker.

“Alright, have a good night, text someone when you get home,” Parker told them. They both mock-saluted her, and headed out the door. When Parker went up to their room after checking and making sure the kitchen and living room has been cleaned up, Trinity had one of her pacifiers in her mouth, and was fast asleep curled into a now pajama wearing Yolanda’s side, notably clutching the white rabbit with one hand. “She fell asleep quick.”

“Always does after meeting new people, glad we have some babysitters now if we need more back up.” Yolanda said. Parker changed and climbed into the other side of bed, Garcia flicked the lamp off and Trinity snuggled in closer feeling loved and warm with her mama and mommy.

3.
They had been watching a scary movie. Saying yes to that was her first mistake. As soon as the first jump scare happened, she was down, and the more scared she got the more she dropped. It wasn’t until she started to whimper that Yolanda and Parker realized something was wrong.

Trinity stood awkwardly in their living room, the fuzziness having taken over her during their movie. She was so dumb, this was supposed to be a date and then she went and ruined it by dropping. Tears rolled down her face.

“Sowwy,” she told Yolanda, “didn’t mean ta dwop.” Yolanda walked over and rubbed her arm, wiped the tears off her cheeks.

“It’s okay honey, can you tell me how old you are?” Trinity thought for a second. She held up 2 fingers. “Good job honey! Do you know if big you has any extra clothes or anything in the car?”

“No clothes, just my special undies.” Trinity said sniffling, “don’t have lil clothes.” She wished she did her sweater was so itchy, and her jeans were too tight against her legs.

“Can Parker or I go get your special underwear from your car?” Yolanda assumed pull ups, but her heart was hurting for the little. Parker and her would have to go get some clothes to surprise her next time, assuming there was a next time. Trinity nodded, pointing to the table where she had left her keys. Parker got up and grabbed her keys and headed towards the door.

“Do you want to change into some of mine or Parker’s clothes? That sweater seems kind of scratchy.” Trinity thought for a moment, she should just go home to regress like she normally does, but Miss Yolanda and Miss Parker were being so nice. She could stay for a night, right? As long as this never happened again.

“Yes pease, Miss Yolanda.” Trinity said, eyes still trained on the ground. Yolanda chuckled inside at the formal name, and rose to her feet, also helping Trinity up. She leads Trinity upstairs and has her sit on the bed. Yolanda pulled out one of Parker’s old rugby t shirts that was big on Parker, so would probably swim on Trinity. That was the goal, so mission accomplished.

“Do you need me to help you change?” Yolanda asked tentatively, she didn’t want to make her uncomfortable. Trinity looked at all the buttons on her sweater and her pants, knowing that the collar was going to be too tight to just take it off over her head, and nodded. “Okay sweetheart let’s take it slow.” They got her changed, Yolanda narrating what she was doing the whole time. Parker knocks on the bedroom door, and comes in when Yolanda gave her the affirmative. Trinity insisted she did not need help with changing into her new undies (Yolanda’s suspicion of pull ups was confirmed).

Parker and Yolanda waited outside the door. Trinity came out, thumb planted firmly in her mouth, shirt hitting her about mid thigh, and looking at the two women. “Tanks Miss Yolanda, Tanks Miss Parker,” she lisped around her thumb. “Need ta go home now.” Parker and Yolanda looked confused.

“Do you think you need to leave because we don’t want you here?” Parker asked. Trinity nodded. No one likes her like this, again a mistake was made and she’d go home and finish up her regression episode herself.

“Yo-yo and I would really like it if you stayed with us, you know.” Parker looked Trinity in the eyes as she said it, “we were just talking about how we’d love to get you some little clothes if you wanted us to help take care of you.”

“Really?” Trinity said, taking the thumb out of her mouth and looking nervous but hopeful.

“Really.” Yolanda said.

Trinity squealed and hugged the two women. “Watch new movie?”

“Yeah,” Parker chuckled, “we can watch a new movie.”

4.

“Maamaaaaa, don’t wanna wear sunscreen,” Trinity whined. Parker was getting the 2 bigs backpacks out of the back while Yolanda sprayed Trinity’s arms and back. She moved to rub cream into her face.

“I know hermosita, but you’re very pale and burn easily and we want to keep your skin safe.” Yolanda finished rubbing the cream on the littles face. “Look Mama and Mommy are gonna put some on too, see.” Yolanda sprayed some sunscreen on herself, Parker doing the same. Trinity nodded and then started to walk towards the trail.

“Wait a minute Tee,” Parker yells out. Trinity stopped in her tracks and stood switching between feet, jittery from the excitement of going on a hike. She went out plenty, to the zoo, the aquarium and the little catered park by mama and mommy’s house, but Big Trinity loved hiking so they figured taking Little Trinity out would be fun too. What they forgot to factor in was the fact that Trinity liked to wander, and refuses to wear a backpack leash. They’d tried once, and it ended with her sitting on the ground and not moving from one spot, she’s a very stubborn girl.“You have to make sure you stay where mama and I can see you okay baby?” Trinity nodded seriously. Her thumbs began to travel towards her mouth.

“Uh-uh,” Yolanda said, pulling her thumb down and replacing it with the chew necklace around her neck. “You hand is dirty, remember honey it’s got germs? Use your chewy please.” Trinity nodded and chewed resolutely.

This worked for awhile, the 3 of them walking up the trail, letting Trinity carefully climbing some rocks under close supervision of her Mama and Mommy. However, when Yolanda and Parker stop, and turn their backs for a minute too set up the camp stove for lunch Trinity wanders to another big rock, which she promptly started to climb.

Once the camping stove was up and running, Yolanda and Parker turned around to see that Trinity was… nowhere to be found. “I thought you were watching her??” Parker said, beginning to search the area.

“I thought you were!” Yolanda was starting to walk up ahead, freaking out. She yelled, “Trinity! Trinity sweetie come back here.”

“Tee! Trinity! This isn’t funny!” Parker called. She walks about a hundred feet down the path and sees a large rock, she has a feeling. Which is confirmed when she realizes the rock has a flat top and she sees Trinity’s painted boots hanging over the edge of the rock. Parker climbs up and sees the little what she thinks is fast asleep. “Trin,” Parker shakes her carefully. “Trin sweetie wake up mommy can carry you once we get to the ground, but we have to get down there first.” Trinity groaned, but didn’t fully get up. Parker felt her forehead, and cursed. Trinity was way too hot.

“Shit, shit, shit.” Parker threw Trinity over her back fireman style and began to climb down. “YOYO I NEED WATER AND WE NEED TO GO.”

The last thing Trinity remembered was looking at the clouds on that nice rock. There was beeping behind her, that was weird. Something also felt weird in her arm and her stomach was churning. Her back was also cool. Huh, weird. Her eyes fluttered open to see the bright white walls of the Pitt. She started to squirm, reaching for the weird feeling thing in her arm.

“Uh, uh, you have to leave that alone sweetie,” Yolanda said. Trinity looked over and saw her mama getting up to hold her hand without the IV in it.

“Mama,” she rasps out. “Don’t feel good.” Yolanda rushed to grab her a green bag, which Trinity immediately expelled the contents of her stomach in.

“My poor baby,” Yolanda cooed, rubbing her back.

“What happen?” Trinity felt much smaller than she had earlier in the day.

“Mama and mommy weren’t paying attention and you wandered off, you got really hot when you climbed that rock and when mommy found you you weren’t responding, so we brought you here to help you feel better.” Yolanda told her, as Parker and Perlah entered the room.

“ ’M sowwy I went away, jus’ wanted to climb mowe.” She didn’t want them to be mad. She just wanted to have fun and setting up for lunch was so boring.

“It’s okay sweet pea,” Parker said, petting her hair. “Mama and I forget how close of an eye we need to keep on you sometimes.”

“Temps down to 99.3” Perlah said, “I’ll go see what Dr Mohan wants to do and if we can’t get the kiddo out of here.”

“Thank you,” Yolanda responds.

“Tanks, Tita.” Trinity said. Perlah smiled at the girl.

“I’ll have to have your moms let me come over and make you some adobo kiddo, mines the best.” Perlah winked.

“Peaseeeee, mama, peeeassseee mommy.” Trinity pleased, with puppy dog eyes.

“Let’s get you out of here first huh?”

5.
“Tanks Mira.” Trinity said, sucking on a lollipop given to her by the senior resident.

Samira chuckles, “No problem kiddo, make sure you drink some more water before climbing on rocks again okay?” Trinity nodded seriously.

“How about we go home and watch Sound of Music while we eat, huh?” Yolanda whispered in Trinity’s ear, who nodded enthusiastically.

“Nuggies? Peeeassseee?” Trinity asked, looking up at her caregivers with her big green eyes.

“I think we can make that happen, right Yo?” Parker looked to her partner, who nodded.

They loaded into Parker’s truck, and drove back to the apartment. Trinity was very tired, but she wanted to watch sound of music and eat her nuggies so she persisted.

“I’ll take her to get a bath and change, you start on dinner?” Parker asked. Yolanda nodded. They pulled up into the driveway and got out, Parker picked up Trinity, carrying her to their room and setting her on the bed. “Is my baby tired?” Parker coos.

“Mmmm not tired.” Trinity responds, eyes heavy.

“How about a cool bath with a bath bomb? I don’t want to heat you up again.” Trinity nods, a warm bath would probably feel yucky right now. After a quick bath, Trinity changed into her favorite PJs, which were a wicked themed onesie with little hats and bubbles on them, and started to drop lower, pressing her thumb into her mouth.

“Can you tell mommy how old you are sweetheart?” Trinity thought hard, but she couldn’t tell, she was just small. “Do you think you’ll be able to eat your nuggets or do you want a shake?” Trinity holds up two fingers, for the second option. “Okay, we can do that, why don’t we get your blankie and set you up on the couch?” Trinity nodded at this, scurrying to the bed to get the blanket that her mama and mommy had first gifted her when she began regressing with them regularly while Parker grabbed one of Trinity’s pacifiers from the box. “Your thumb is germy, here.” Parker pulls Trinity’s thumb from her mouth, who whines at the loss before it’s replaces by her pacifier.

Parker picks her up and carries her downstairs. “Mama,” Trinity mumbles around her paci, seeing Yolanda in the kitchen.

“You wanna go to your mama, honey?” Parker asked. Trinity nodded. “Yoyo! I’ve got a tiny girl who wants to see you!” Yolanda turned her head to see how little Trinity had dropped.

“Hi my little baby, did you have a good bath?” Yolanda asked. Trinity nodded then rested her head against Yolanda’s heart, as the older woman rubbed circles on her back. ‘Shake?’ Yolanda mouths to Parker, who nods her head, already getting the protein shake out. Parker grabs a no spill cup and a straw, while Yolanda and Trinity cuddled on the couch.

“Mama, want baba.” Trinity whispered into Yolanda’s ear. Yolanda nodded.

“Parker, can you get her a bottle, not a cup?” Yolanda said to the kitchen.

Yolanda grabbed the remote and turned on Sound of Music. Trinity was a musical lover first and foremost. Parker came over and sat with the two of them, handing the shake to Yolanda and eating the chicken nuggets herself. Yolanda tapped Trinity’s arm to get her attention.

“Alright baby it’s time for your shake, do you want mama to feed you or to do it yourself?” Trinity points at Yolanda, “okay, here it comes.” Yolanda pulled the pacifier from Trinity’s mouth and replaced it with the nipple of the bottle which Trinity happily began to drink from, even though her eyes were growing heavier. As soon as Trinity finished her shake, her pacifier was slid back into her mouth. Edelweiss began to play on the tv as Trinity snuggled in closer between Yolanda and Parker, head resting on Yolanda’s lap and legs crossed over Parker’s. She slowly began to drift to sleep, feeling so very loved.

+2 first times Trinity saw them as her caregivers

Shocking both her caregivers, Parker was first. Trinity was playing with her, Parker has started working out so that she could lift Trinity more easily. Being a caregiver gave her strength, but she really wanted to be able to spin and throw her girl in the air. Trinity was giggling her head off.

“Higher! Mommy! Higherrrr!” The little screamed through giggles. Parker threw her up higher before it processed what she had said, finally catching her and setting her down.

“Tanks Mommy,” Trinity smiled hard, then realizing what she said shied away.

“What’s wrong sweet girl?” Parker asked, seeing the girls energy change.

“Otay to call you mommy?” Trinity asked, her big blue eyes, lip wobbling as tears began to form.

“Of course honey,” Parker said, cupping Trinity’s cheeks with her hands and rubbed her thumbs over them. “If you want to call me mommy, I’d wear it with pride. I know this is a big step for you and I didn’t want to rush it.”

Trinity smiled, “Uppy, again?” Parker chuckled.

“Of course, baby.”

Yolanda was not jealous, not one bit. Sure, Trinity had been calling Parker Mommy the last 5 times she regressed (not that she was counting) and still called Yolanda, Landa. She loved Landa, it was a cute pet name. She was not one bit jealous that Trinity would ask Parker for treats and new toys and not her not one bit whatsoever.

Yolanda still spoiled her, bought Trinity so many things that reminded her of the little. She really should chill out, but learning Trinity hadn’t had proper regression until she started doing it with Yolanda and Parker hurt Yolanda’s heart so sue her if she wants to spoil Trinity.

It was after one of these shopping trips that Yolanda had arrived at home. Trinity was sitting on the couch, big.

“Well hello beautiful lady.” Yolanda kissed Trinity. “What’s your fuzz level?”

“8 or 9, I was waiting for you or Parker to get home before I dropped because I didn’t want to burn anything down.” Trinity chuckled to herself. She was getting more comfortable in her regression, it was nice. Trinity closed her eyes and let the fuzz wash over her as her little self came out.

“LANDA!” Trinity yelled and giggled running up to her.

“Hola amorcita. How is my little butterfly today?” Yolanda asked her.

“Mmm happy, missed you.” Yolanda and Trinity had different shifts all week, so hadn’t had much time to see each other.

“I missed you too, lovey. Do you want to go play outside while I start? I got you some fun stuff to play with when I was out.” Trinity nodded. Yolanda went to the kitchen and grabbed the jump rope and the bubbles she had bought the little. Trinity took them and went outside where she knew Landa could see her from the kitchen. She started by playing with the bubbles. She made really big ones, really small ones, and in between. She loved bubbles, how they reflected her face with a shimmery rainbow hue. Once she was bored of the bubbles, she picked up the jump rope and started playing with it.

What little Trinity didn’t put together is how slippery the ground would be from the bubble solution after playing with them. So after jumping a couple times, she landed wrong, and scraped her palms of her hands and her knees on the concrete patio. She started to sniffle and tears welled up in her eyes, she turned over and everything looked so red and raw and angry. She started to wail, she wanted her Landa, her mama. So she did the first thing that came to her head and screamed, “MAAMAAAA.”

Yolanda looked up at the screaming and saw tears rolling down Trinity’s face as she looked at her hands and knees. Yolanda grabbed the first aid kit and ran outside.

“Trinity, amorcita what happened?” Yolanda was already assessing her, just looked like some scrapes.

“Mama,” she whined and sniffled. Yolanda’s heart grew, she wished it wasn’t this that made her feel like she could call her mama, but she’d be lying if she would say she wasn’t happy by the new development. “Was jump ropein’ ‘n’ I slip. Hurts mama.” Big tears spilt over Trinity’s cheeks.

“I know, I know. Let’s get you inside and cleaned up okay?” Yolanda picked up the little girl and took her inside, sitting her on the kitchen counter. She grabbed a warm washcloth to help clean her scrapes, putting some bluey themed bandaids on her knees. Yolanda chatted to Trinity about how she saw her friends in the Pitt today, and how Parker had gotten them a chance to meet some penguins at the zoo, almost anything to distract the little.

“Landa,” Trinity began to ask, “wanna call you mama but don’t want you to think I’m too much.” Trinity told her while she was wiping off one of her palms.

“Hermosita, why do you think I’d say you’re too much because of that?” Yolanda asked confused.

“Trouble,” Trinity whispered. Yolanda realized, her calling Trinity trouble had lodged herself in her little headspace and had stopped her from getting attatched.

“Oh sweetheart,” Yolanda finished up cleaning her hands. “Landa made a mistake saying that, you aren’t trouble my love, you are the sweetest, most observant girl, and I wasn’t ready to see that yet.” Yolanda squeezed her tight, putting the littles head over her heart.

“For real?” Trinity looked at her with dried tears staining her face.

“For real, I’d love to be your mama if that’s what you want, but it’s up to you.” Yolanda swept Trinity up in a hug.

“Mama.” Trinity whispered burrowing her head in her neck. Trinity felt safe, for one of the first times ever. Just her mama, her mommy coming home soon, and her.

Thanks for reading! I’ve got some other ideas around this little family bouncing around, let’s hope I don’t get whomped by my last semester of college!
