Hornet Jumped off Eira and into the Slab, ready to go into Mount Fay. She recently got a destroyed tool from a Weavenest and remembered a room she found near the top of Mount Fay that had schematics of the tool so planned to go there to fix it.
She entered the Mountainous area and Noticed the Weather was a bit harsher than normal, but didn't think too much of it. She went to climb the Mountain again before hearing something familiar.
"Kai lai lai lai..... oooooooooh shkadooooo"
Hornet was caught off guard hearing this, why was Shakra here? Hornet already got the Map from her!
Hornet decided a quick visit couldn't hurt so went to see her.
"Shakra!!!!"
"POSHANKA! Hornet Wielding Needle! I was not expecting to see you here."
"Same to you. Why are you here?"
"I needed some time away from the Loudness of Bellhart and figured this was the best place as it's very quiet aside from the Wind"
"I see. Well I'm here to go up to a room I found in the mountain for a Schematic for a Tool I found broken."
"Never seizing to Increase your arsenal are you?"
"Nope not at all, but it is great to see you here. Though, the weather seems a bit Harsher than normal right?"
"Hmmmm. You got a point, it is off!"
Just then, their vision started to turn a bit whiter and the snow and wind got Harsher. Oh no.
"Oh god, WE HAVE TO MOVE!!!! IT'S A WHITE OUT!!!!"
Hornet turned to run back to the Slab with Shakra close behind, but when they got there, the snow was blocking the entrance, Great.
"What do we do!?"
"There is a safe cave in the opposite direction Shakra! Let's Move!!"
The snow was growing rapidly, and despite having the Faydown Cloak, the Snow and wind was making it feel like she didn't have it, The wind was even destroying the Weaver Bubbles that once kept Hornet Safe from the cold.
The two barely made it into the Cave before freezing, but the Entrance was now blocked too now, so they were just completely stuck now.
"Welp, I guess we better keep cozy while waiting for the storm to Pass right?"
"I guess, but this sucks as now my mission to free Pharloom is Delayed Again."
This is the 3rd time Hornet had to delay her Mission, first was when she was severely sick from MuckMaggots, second was when she had to make up to Shakra for trying to avoid her, and now this!? If she had access to soul like her Siblings, she would've let out a Howling Wraiths.
Thankfully, the cave had a bench nearby to keep the two rested, but it was still cold.
"Man, the cold is terrible, we can't even set up a fire without it quickly going out!"
"Yes, It's terrible Shakra, but there's nothing we can do."
"Gara Tanaka! If we don't do something, we'll still freeze!"
"Do you have something in mind?"
Shakra was silent for a moment, thinking, before she let out a small laugh with a Mischievous smile.
Hornet's heart fluttered hearing the Laugh, but was unsure what Shakra was Planning.
"What are you planning?"
"The answer to your question is Body heat."
Hornet was confused for a second on what Shakra meant, Hornet didn't have enough heat in her body to keep herself going, she had to have external equipment to stay warm, what does Shakra mean by-
Then, out of nowhere, Shakra picks Hornet up and puts her into her lap. Realization struck Hornet immediately, of course, she wasn't talking about using their own Body heat, she was referring to using Eachother's body heat.
"Um- I- uh!"
"Is something wrong dearest?~"
"Wel-"
...... did she just call her Dearest?
"Well... um.... I... uh.... well, I'm..... just not used to this."
Hornet's face was beyond Scarelt and her heart was beating faster than ever!
"Oh don't worry dear~ when you're with me. You'll be used to it, hehehe~"
Hornet didn't know what to say or do, she was as still as a statue, her heart racing with flutters in her stomach, her entire body turning bright red.
"Are you warm my dear?~"
The answer was yes, Hornet was extremely warm, but her mouth just wasn't able to move with how much of a Wreck she was.
"Not going to say anything? It's ok"
Shakra turned Hornet's face towards her own with a bright smile in her face that could light up a room
"I'll keep you safe Honeybun~"
Every part of Hornet's body immediately shut down and her body could've been as hot as the lava of Deepdocks, she was just unable to think straight, her mouth just wouldn't move, her passion was being shattered, she felt like she could've belonged in her siblings categorization.
"Opps, did I go to far Hornet?"
Shakra looked at her with deep concern and all Hornet could do was do a slight nod.
"Sorry, I'll stop now, you're totally warm now"
Shakra was right and despite her stopping her Flirting, Hornet was still feeling heavy flutters across her body to the point she forgot where she was for a few hours.
Eventually, Hornet's heart was able to calm down, she was still in Shakra's embrace which still kept her warm, but Hornet could think properly now. Soon, the two heard the snow near the entrance Collapse and knew the White Out was over and so the two got up and parted ways, but Hornet still had the memory of Shakra's flirting in the back of her mind as she climbed up the mountain to do what she wanted to do there in the first place.
