VILE really was not a place for the lonely.
Shadowsan could tell you all about it, he gave up everything to be here. All to be surrounded by cheesy couples and huge flocks of friends.
For when commanded under the influence of a human drug (they call her lady dokuso) , he shot and killed what was left of Suhara and accepted the offer to go to this school in a last ditch effort to not jump off the very bridge he met the wolf.
Now the high if the drug wore off, she left him bitterly. Proving his effort useless. And now he's surrounded by friend groups and teamwork.
However lately that odd girl.. Spider lily has been following the shadow.
Apparently an ex friend of the very drug who ruined him. And that nerdy student body president cookie booker. He hated her as well, she's a snobby bitch.
He'd be lying if he said the girl was not annoying, she's too chatty, too hyper, too.... Nice.
Definetly a mask. So she can hurt him! But he'd be damned if he'd fall for it.
However the saying goes, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. He didn't make an effort to shoo her off, her pollen was too clingy anyways.
She wasn't evil, which made shadowsan wonder why she was even here in a crime school.
Regardless, she follows him everywhere, talking about random shit.Mostly music, something shadowsan is not exactly educated on
She's annoying... But she's not lady dokuso. So maybe she isn't as evil..
All of these were a train of thought in shadowsans head as he was in the VILE library, pretending to read this dumb book on thievery. The train chugged on the tracks of his mind.
But a loud voice crashed this train into a wall.
"Hello!!"

The spider lily.
"sorry forgot we were in a Library"
she immediately whispered, chuckling. Sitting besides him
People looked at them weird. But shadowsans glare pushed them away back to the stuff they were doing. He just didn't want people staring at him! Yeah. That's the issue.
"i found this amazing song, I nicked the CD off a senior op but shhh don't tell anyone!"
She chuckled nuttily. She had a weird love for music.
She opened her duffel bag and pulled out her mp3 player, books and pencils
"want some toffee? "
She pulled some out for him holding them with a smile. Shadowsan just shook his head. Regardless she put the toffee near him on the table. As a silent gesture to take whenever
She put on her ear plugs. Shadowsan was almost curious as to what she's listening to. And what she was sketching.
Why did he care?! She's just some dumb girl...
Afer a few minutes of awkward silence she got up
"I'll be in the restroom. Look after my stuff please!" She said. Shadowsan just sighed and nodded. Fine. Why not
Spider lily got up and skipped off
Shadowsan just felt glad for peace.... Until suddenly, someone stormed off to his table, and slammed a hand on it. Alerting shadowsan who jumped up

"so. You moved on already"
She accused angrily, her sunglasses reflecting light into shadowsans eyes, felt like he was burning.
"She's just following me around. I'm hardly anything with her. What's it to you" He responded indifferently, he wasn't going to engage much. Not with her. Not again.
"My problem is you seem to be celebrating I'm gone, moving on with my enemies are we?"
She scoffed angrily, crossing her arms.
"You left me, don't act a victim yamiko."
He said bitterly. He would lie if he said the breakup hasn't stung.
He did love the drug, she gave him incredible emotional highs, but now it's worn off he's empty,withdrawn. Heartbroken beyond repair.
"You know. Spider lily isn't so one you'd want to be with." She said rather negatively, "she's a toxic friend."
She stated. Oh the irony. The woman who bases herself around poison, calls another girl toxic.
Trying to sell people out are we? Shadowsan can play that game with her.
"Says the poison lady." he said bluntly. His eyes show know signs of believing her. Lady dokuso paused, eyes slightly widening.
"excuse me?"
"You heard me. Says you."
Shadowsan crosses his arms with Agitation. "Even if I did trust your judgment. Why would I hate a girl who's done nothing but offer me toffee over you?"
Lady dokuso snarled, that bastard...
"Im doing what's best for you shadowsan. Even if I hate you i-"
"Oh save it"
Shadowsan slammed his book shut, cutting her off.
"save your 'I still care' bullshit." he sets the book down, now glaring straight to her sunglasses, light bouncing from her glasses to his pupils.
"You ruined me lady dokuso. You always wanted to ruin me, you are just mad you were proven wrong. Someone else does want to be around me. And I don't need you around" he said monotone, almost like he didn't care.
"You don't understand, cookie found her diary and she's a weirdo-"
"ah... There it is." shadowsan said calmly. "There's the reason she's not a part of your stupid trio anymore."
He said too calmly. His mind lingered back to previous gossip. A girls diary had been leaked. To the men of VILE that wasn't a huge deal.... To the women it was huge gossip.
"It was only a game" lady dokuso said after a bit of silence, she sounded frustrated that she couldn't get to shadowsan like she once did.
"Like everything is to you, you find joy in making others suffer, that's why you are insufferable."
Shadowsan said glaring her in the eyes.
"scram."
He said bitterly, lady dokuso huffed, straightened herself and was about to walk. Shadowsan made her pause.
"Oh and lady dokuso?.... Stay away from her. Or you will pay" he said coldly, not a threat, a promise.
She walked off angry. She'd definetly tell cookie booker. And she knew cookie booker as the student body president of VILE can and will take disciplinary, but shadowsan didn't care.
He just wondered what made him defend her... Why did he get so frustrated to her words? She's only a foolish girl right...
Regardless spider lily returned, shadowsan acted normal.
"I'm back.... Did anything happen?"
She asked with a smile. Shadowsan shook his head and sat back down. Spider lily sat besides him,returning to her previous activity.
When she wasn't looking... Shadowsan snagged a toffee from the pile. Maybe she wasn't so bad to be around... But he'd be damned if he trusted her immediately! She's on thin ice.
