Work Text:

There is a new restaurant in town with a challenge eat their spicy hot xxl ramen bowls within one hour and get the meal + drinks for free. It the talk of the town.

“Can we please go here!” Simon and Kageo ask Sun-Gu who is looking at them with a judging face.

“Shouldn’t you two lay low?” Sun-Gu says nonchalantly.

“Oh come on can we please” Simon asks.

“Pretty please,” Thaddeus chimes in.

“Fine”

When they finally arrive it becomes apparent that’s it’s very crowded. There are a lot of people who wanted to do the challenge, a lot of them were recording themselves.

“Four xxl ramen extra omega spice from the other side please,” Sun-Gu orders. He’s already over it, without taking a single bite.

“Oh can we get some tanghulu?” Thaddeus says more so than he asks, with big puppy dog eyes.

“And some tanghulu,” Sun-Gu adds.

As they sit down the smell of the spicy herbs begin to pour in their noses.

As Thaddeus and Simon begin trembling to take the first bite. Sun-Gu takes one and says it alright. So they begin to dig in before both faces begin to contort in disgust.
And so Kageo takes a bite, and takes another bite.

“Man this is really good,” he then exclaims as he takes yet another bite.

Thaddeus and Simon go straight for the milk, with tears streaming down their faces rolling down their cheeks, while their noses are red and puffy from the spice they can’t handle.

“Really after one bite? I thought the “God of Kowloon” and the “spiral swords master” had more bite to them but oh well,”

“What did you just say?!”

“You take that back!”

As both of them dig in their ramen, however halfway they stop.

“I can’t no more,” Simon says as he groans in pain.

“Same here, uncle,”

“It’s not that bad,” Kageo says as he takes a bite with his chopsticks.

“Did you guys get other ones?” Sun-Gu asks as he takes a bite from Simon’s bowl with his chopsticks.

“And?” Kageo asks.

“It’s the same,” Sun-Gu tells, face painted with confusion.

“Really? So this is what it takes to bring “the God of Kowloon” and “the spiral swords master” down?” Kageo taunts.

“What did you just say? I’ll end you!”

“No we’ll end you,”

As the three of them begin fighting each other.

“Yes we were at that table over there,” Sun-Gu tells the waiter, as he pays for Thaddeus and Simon’s bowls. While the sound of them fighting is being heard in the background.
