Kyuotani was coming back from extra practice, it had been two and a half weeks since Yahaba made himself at home and started living together with him, he still didn't know why. He was about to open the entrance door when his nose caught the scent of something burning and a lot of smoke, he quickly opened the door and a huge cloud of it covered his face, making him cough, he rushed to the kitchen and screamed for his unwanted (not really) roommate.
In the corner of the kitchen, there was a double window right next to the sink, Yahaba had two pieces of a cardboard box and was trying to get the smoke out the window, while in the oven rested a frying pan burnt with what was supposed to be eggs and bacon, now practically coal. He scolded him and then helped him.
Minutes later, the house didn't have any smoke inside, Kyuotani told Yahaba that he wasn't allowed in the kitchen for a reason, the second day he tried to make eggs and sausages, and somehow completely evaporated all the water, overcooked the eggs to a point they felt like rocks, and absolutely burned the sausages.
-I was really hungry, and you weren't coming back —He tried to defend himself
-That's no excuse! —He sat down on the couch behind him— This time you could've burned the house down, dumbass
-Hey! Not my fault you were so late, it's like thirty minutes more than usual! —Yahaba stood up and pointed at him
-I'm way too tired to fight, let's end this another day, let me sleep —He turned his head and got comfortable
-On the couch? Oh no, no you won't —He grabbed both his feet and snatched him to the ground
-What the heck's wrong with you!? —He complained, scratching his head
-Cook something for me! I'm starving —He demanded
-Not with that attitude —He said, hiding a little smirk, and stood up
-Oh, shut up and do it! —He stuck his tongue out, mocking Kyuotani
Kyuotani walked to the kitchen and tried his best to get the burnt food out of it, putting it on the stove and asking Yahaba to give him some meat, and telling him to fill a pot with water.
He told him to put four eggs in the pot and left it on the other stove until it started boiling, and while carefully watching him, Kyuotani asked Yahaba to add salt to the water and to put the pasta in, after a while, the meat was already waiting on the plate. While Yahaba prepared one of the only things he could, a salad, Kyuotani was making sure the pasta was cooked properly.
Fifteen minutes later, it was fully cooked, so he served it next to the meat and put it on the table, while Yahaba put the salad in the middle, and so, they started eating.
-The meat tastes so good! —Yahaba complimented Kyuotani, food still in his mouth
-The salad ain't that bad, I'm surprised —The other replied, laughing
-Hey!
