“Uh I suppose not!” Vegas tutted, sucking in an indulgent breath as she took a step closer.
“Tell me, Pete.” She let two fingers crawl up Pete’s throat, settling on the nook of her chin. “Tell me what you want. You need.” For a split second, the heat burning in Pete’s eyes flared, fanned by the skin-on-skin contact. It was at this point Vegas saw Pete notice her–really notice her.
