Summary
One-Sentence Summary:
Aziraphale and Crowley ride in a sleigh and make out.
Or:
Imagine a white plain, stretching farther than the eye can see in all directions. White snow is glistening, studded with myriads of tiny diamonds. The sun is at its zenith, but it’s the middle of winter, so it’s at a low angle all the same.
Talking about angels: Aziraphale is in the midst of this crisp, frosty beauty, driving an open horse sleigh, burrowed deep in warm blankets and furs, shielded from the cold. The sun is warm on his face, and the wind brushing his skin is just the right side of brisk—due to a minor miracle. He is travelling home from an assignment well accomplished. He is giddy with the beauty of the Earth in her bridal dress, giddy with the speed of his sleigh, giddy with being alive!
Of course, something *unexpected* happens, and then two are riding in that sleigh, Crowley and Aziraphale … under cover(s).
Things heat up under the blankets, as Aziraphale gives in to temptation, or seizes the opportunity— craving a tiny speck of warmth in this vast desert of frost, who can blame him? Carpe diem and such, as Crowley would put it so eloquently.
