Summary
“I’m freezing,” Victoria finally declares, when she’s truly so cold that she has fear of nerve and tissue damage beneath her gloves. Even then, she’s having so much fun that she almost thinks the loss of the appendages might be worth it.
Trinity collides with her hard enough that it might hurt if they weren’t both bundled in so many layers. Victoria can’t bring herself to complain when she’s nose-to-nose with Trinity, her hot breath blowing clouds of condensation against Victoria’s own frozen mouth. She’s feeling kind enough to peel one of her snow-clad gloves off her hand before pressing her palm to Victoria’s cheek, the pad of her thumb falling to Victoria’s lower lip. “I know how to warm you up.”
